Choose the grassy meadow or the natural woods filled with trees. Have a campfire and enjoy nature. Bring fishing gear and cast away. Go for a relaxing walk on the 2,000 feet of walkable dikes right on the river. Bring your canoe or kayak and feel free to launch it right on site. If you're bringing an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 30 ft in length and the sites require levelling. There is a water hookup but no electrical hookup. Toilet & showers are available. Potable water available. Pet-friendly! Bring a bike and explore our dirt trails across the street. Or visit the man-made dam on Dam RD just 2 minutes down the road, where you can take a dip in the water. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, look no further! Passing through
The host came by to greet and introduce himself to us and very campsite. We found the campground to be very quiet at night and dark which we loved. There is some outside of the campground noise but we didn’t notice it at night and we slept with our windows open since it was cool.

This was me and my boyfriend’s first time camping and we had a great time. The host Tyler came by to greet us and he was very nice. Anyone we came across was friendly as well. There was running water and port-a-potties available but we opted for our own portable toilet. Just make sure you have bug spray and good lights. Will definitely be going again and recommending

Close to home, yet still far away
Great place, close to home. Not too busy so we were lucky to not have people right on top of us. Very kind and helpful owner, we’ll be back.

Great spot! Different site type options and easy to get to. Tyler was very friendly and welcoming, said hi then gave us our space to enjoy our time. Definitely would recommend!

Good location, great for campfires
Lots of fire-rings, and the camp host sells firewood. Very close to "peconic lake", a sort of slow stream that connects to the Peconic River. Some of the sites are fairly near each other, and with no tree cover mixed in it can get a bit noisy if the area is busy. Very close to Riverhead and lots of interesting breweries, wineries, and restaurants!
