Great people with a tranquil piece of land. Privacy if you want, group setting if you prefer. Outhouse with flush toilet was extremely clean. Clean running water. Shower in the works. Thanks Brian for sharing your land! I’m sure I’ll be back.

I had a wonderful time camping here. Brian was very accommodating and made sure I was taken care of during my stay. The property is very peaceful and sleeping near the creek was a tranquil experience. I hope to return some day!

My wife n I stayed two nights we were alone had the whole place to ourselves was amazing the host Brian was very nice and friendly we loved the old railroad tracks that leed to the rocky waters of the Hudson River that experience was absolutely breathtaking we will go again

Awesome spot. Brian was very friendly and accommodating. Campsite felt very private. Impressive amenities with a flush toliet and hot shower. The creek was awesome! Would totally return :)

We camped for 2 nights at the most perfect spot, the 1st on the right! Was flat, clean and so perfect! Set up our Rooftop tent, opened the windows and fell asleep listening to the water running along the creek, so peaceful and just what we look for! In talking with Brian prior to arrival, mention I see you have eggs available and the next day him and his lovely wife walked on over and brought us a delicious dozen of free range eggs that we gobbled up the next morning! So kind that he didn't forget. Laid back, friendly and knowledgeable about the area, things to see and places to go! We enjoyed chatting with them and will both recommend and return again soon! After packing up and showering we followed the creek to the Hudson River found a little hole and took a dip as was recommended and it was lovely and so refreshing!

If your looking for rustic basic camping this is for you! Our family and friends love to camp at Patterson creek camp site! Beautiful views with just a short walk up to the river to spend the day in the sun! Night time is so peaceful with the crackling of the fire and the water flowing over the rocks. Definitely recommend!

Brian was a great host. Very understanding with a last minute change. Gave me the run down of the property. Offered any extras I might have forgotten. And he let me know of a party happening the same night as my stay, which I attended and very much enjoyed. Thanks Brian, I’ll look you up next time I head up your way!

Brian was so incredibly helpful and kind! We had gotten delayed and came in late in the evening, he met us at the driveway and helped get us set up with our trailer in the dark. Very communicative and the site was quiet, clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back again.

We spent 2 nights at Brian’s place and we enjoyed it very much! They were very welcoming and helpful upon arrival! I had a problem pumping up my air mattress and he was able to help me with it! The location was perfect and it was close to the grocery and liquor store:) We didn’t have to buy wood and they provided some for our fires, the surroundings are beautiful and you can go for a walk right from the campsite! It was very peaceful and the site provided a nice ambiance with creek right nearby! Me and my girlfriend would definitely recommend a stay at Brian’s place!!!

Plenty of space. Terrific location along the creek. Tons of birds - Piliated woodpeckers, wood ducks in a lack nearby. Easy to get our 28ft airstream in and out while pulling it with a Ford Crew Cab. Great boondocking site.

Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
It was such a beautiful location! I loved the sound of the creek and the view from my tent. It is very isolated, which was perfect for me. The host is really nice and friendly. I will stay stay here again if I'm back in the area.

This camp worked well for us for bookdocking with a Class B van. There were 4 cap sites, and we had one that was by the small stream - the Hudson is quite nearby over the old railroad bed. Very quiet and as described.

Perfect site right along the creek! Plenty of room for my group of 6 with 3 large tents. Brian was so friendly and helpful. He even brought us tools to fix our tent zipper when it broke. Would absolutely go back!

We had a great time staying at Patterson Creek. Brian was very welcoming, helping us get water for our camper's tank and guiding me in as I was backing the camper in to the site. Our site was right by the creek, so we could pull our chairs right up to the bank. Brian said it was fine to use the solo stove we had brought with us, and he didn't mind where we set it up, so we had our campfire right by the creek. Lots of space between campsites and you're basically in the woods, so there's plenty of privacy. The only downside of the whole trip was that a large group moved in who played music each night until about 2:30am - but that's just the luck of the draw, it happens sometimes. The music wasn't super loud so we were able to doze through it. Overall it was a very positive experience, and we'd be happy to go back.

My Boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet place to camp and Brian’s property was just perfect. The sound of the creek behind our tent was magical. We both slept so soundly.
Brian was a great host and told us where to fish and awesome hike, both exactly what we enjoyed.
The bathroom was clean and close to the sites. Having no shower was not a issue because of all the swimming so close by.
I would highly recommend Brian’s to anyone wanting a quiet camping experience. We will definitely be back next year if not again this year!

I loved camping here. We had a creek front view and we were lucky enough not to have any other campers. Being able to explore a little and walk down the creek into the Hudson River was such an amazing experience. The views were absolutely beautiful. Brian was extremely nice. He is there for you if you want to hang out/party but respects your boundaries and space if that’s what you choose as well. We will definitely be back.

Second year spending my birthday / 4th of July at Patterson Creek and I can not say enough good things about the site and Brian. Our pups get the vacation they deserve as well. Once you stay here once you have found a spot you’ll return to every year.
Also, rain or shine the Hudson is warm and relaxing. Thanks again Brian for an amazing stay!

Brian at Patterson Creek Camp was very friendly and accommodating. The sites were a great size and some are right next to a river which is nice. There is plenty of firewood that Brian offers to use for free. I will definitely recommend this camp to others.
