Great trip, lots to do in the area, easy to hike to and from, and even easier to jump back in the car and head to the various state parks in the area. Good location. Photos could use some updating, holes in the bug net in the tent, small ones bit still noticeable. Bring some tape maybe. Very nice firepit as well, and it came with potable water and a two burner stovetop (propane)

The view was beautiful, and the site was secluded and peaceful. Our host met us even though we arrived late at night and was very accommodating. The tent definitely could be updated. The bed was made up but I was glad we brought our own blankets and pillows to spruce things up. the outdoor toilet is a "pack it in, pack it out" system for your waste. No potable water, so be sure to bring some. There is a very cool, very large hand-built shale fire pit. The site is very rocky and uneven, so bring good walking shoes and slip them on if you have to leave the tent at night. Halfway between glamping and camping.

Site is beautiful and has an amazing view. The site is well set up. But the price was not worth it. Maybe if the site had water and the bedsheets were clean? And maybe if the site wasn’t double booked by the host? We lucked out and the other party was able to be accommodated by the host but the host seemed to not know we were coming.

Great view, nicely secluded! Great place to be off the grid. Not to far from Minnewaska. Recommend brining lots of bug spray, water, and arriving during the day (driveway is a bit steep).

Great spot! It was a clear and cold night down into the 30s, perfect for star gazing. The tent was cozy enough and warmed right up in the morning with an easy starting fire in the stove. The wife, kids, dog and I were happy.

Alex’s place is really nice and secluded at the top of a mountain. Easy to park and find - only a very short walk to the site.
Pros: View is spectacular, area is really private, and tons to do nearby. Plenty of firewood provided for a fee. Forest all around the land is easy to walk around and fun to explore. Table / cooking setup was well thought out and easy to use. Stone fire pit was a great feature
Cons: Tent photo could probably use updating - the stove in the picture was absent (photo probably from when tent was new). Also, be sure to coordinate as water was shown in listing but absent on arrival so had to run to town

We had a great time camping at Osa Trail! Gorgeous views! The sunset and sunrise were stunning. Our kids had a blast. Secluded and quiet. Awesome fire pit with stone seating. We would love to go back! I bet fall is even more beautiful
