Enjoy 33 acres of rolling land, complete with wide expanses of lawn, two vegetable fields, extensive woodlands with hiking trails, and a pond (with a rowboat and fishing poles). There are two fire pits for cooking—one near the campsites and the other on the deck behind the house, which is also yours to use. The driveway passes the house and the barn before looping back in a circle, allowing easy access to the campsites and creating a wonderful track for walks or runs. A scenic trail circles the pond, though it can be muddy at times. Behind the house, you'll find several trails winding through the woods, some marked with orange streamers that lead through a variety of looping routes. You're also welcome to walk through the vegetable fields, admire the crops, and maybe even harvest some fresh greens for dinner! Fresh herbs—including basil, chives, parsley, and thyme—grow in the flower bed along the front walkway. Help yourself at any time!

Site 1 is beautifully situated on a hill on our property with plenty of room for car and tent. Views include the pond and rolling fields. It is spacious and private. We have provided a fire pit and a picnic table nearby for your pleasure. The bathroom is in the house, about 3 minutes' walk. On the porch where you enter the house for the bathroom, there is a selection of outdoor games, including archery, badminton, Frisbee, soccer, and more—plus fishing rods: the pond has a lot of fish and there is a row boat you can take out (life preservers provided). To get to the bathroom you pass through the family room which has a selection of indoor games and a TV. On the other side of the house is a deck with a table and umbrella plus another fire pit. Besides hiking around the pond and through the woods, you can also walk through the vegetable fields and look at the crops, maybe even harvest some greens for your dinner! There are fresh herbs (basil, chives, parsley, thyme) in the flower bed along the front walkway: help yourself at any time!

Perfect Mix of Camping and Comfort

Livia’s property is beautiful and the campsite is very well maintained. Livia herself is a gracious and attentive host. We were looking for a camping experience that had a mix of the great outdoors and creature comforts and this experience managed to strike that balance perfectly. The campsite is close enough to the house that the bathroom and indoor respite are easy to access, but we still felt like we had privacy while we were there. The kids were never bored with all of the games and outdoor activities. We had a wonderful time and we hope to be back!
