Hengarth is a boutique Catskills Glamping Inn set on a bucolic heritage sheep farm with unrivaled mountain views - reserved entirely for your group. When you book, you take over the whole property. No shared campground. Just your people, open meadows, woodland trails, and uninterrupted Great Northern Catskill panoramas. Four spacious, fully furnished bell tents are thoughtfully positioned across our mountain meadows for privacy and big-sky views. The property sleeps up to 20 guests [i.e. family of 5 per tent] and is available as a full-property rental only [two-night minimum]. We provide everything you need to rest, cook, and relax — queen beds with hotel linens, soft furnishings, seating, charging stations, lanterns, and additional cots as needed. Outdoors, each tent area includes private seating, a grill, cooking stove, firepit, cookware, utensils, cooler, picnic table, and more. Each accommodation has its own private off-grid bathroom, complete with compostable toilet, hand-washing facilities, towels, and hot shower. Gather together at the mountain-top pavillion/ BYO bar and picnic area, our 600-square-foot viewing and yoga deck, across meadow spaces, or inside the historic barn space. Mountain Property I Group Glamping
My family and I had the best time camping at Hengarth! My son and daughter loved the sheep and llama, and we had a lovely time sitting around the campfire. This really felt luxurious after many years of camping, with a toilet, shower and bed with linens! Jennifer and her family were so welcoming and thoughtful. The view over the mountains and stars at night made this trip even more special. Thank you!

We are a family of 4 and had an amazing time! The view from the tent is stunning! We grilled food in the evening and had a fire going to stay warm. Great for star gazing. We visited the Catskill Park- Sunset and Artist Rock which have beautiful views from the top of the mountain. Highly recommend this host.

Amazing view, ultra-clean accommodations, all the bells and whistles. Jennifer is a fantastic host, thinking of all the details to make the stay comfortable. The tents are well-equipped with extremely comfortable beds and linens. Very clean bathroom/commode area and super big plus to be able to take a hot shower!

The setting was absolutely stunning. So peaceful and beautiful, you could hear the quiet and occasionally the stream running by. Jennifer's hospitality was really special, responses were very fast and so accommodating. Loved being able to feed the llama! Even in the rain, we loved sitting at the "bar" and listening to the rain on the roof and play cards. Every detail was provided for. The website's expert guidance led us to Mine Kill Falls where our teenagers spent a magical 2 hours climbing and swimming in a waterfall. We'll be back!

A Royal Pavilion Outdoors!
Classic Bell-Tent, East Meadow
We had a terrific time on Jennifer's land in Prattesville. The sites really had everything we could have needed and more (as advertised!). The land was beautiful with birdwatching galore and splendid sunsets. The tents were very comfortable and the whole set up was clean and fresh. So nice to be able to take a shower outside and head back to warm up by the campfire. Jennifer was a great communicator and was able to help us with the few things we needed during our stay: extra firewood and an umbrella. We want to come back with a group so we can enjoy the land with friends and family. A very positive experience and wonderful way to start the summer!

It was fantastic to camp on Jen’s land, she had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the foliage was vibrant for Early October. We even got to feed a lama! Would definitely stay there again!

The best
Mountain Property I Group Glamping
As a first time glamper; Hengarth was a perfect first experience. The tent and lodging itself was so nice, clean and gorgeous. The view every day and night will be on my mind for years (the sky was so clear I had never seen so many stars in my life). There was another family alongside us in the next tent over but it still felt so personal and private. All the small details made the stay so special ( jen was very on top of everything; firewood, extra blankets & water, lanterns, directions and recommendations, cookware, EVERYTHING! ) We stayed 2 nights ; Mainly enjoying time on Hengarth but also visited Pratt Rock, hiked Catskill park, and stopped at the Hudson skywalk on the way back home. The best trip I’ve had in years

I recently stayed at Hengarth Farm Catskill Glamping, and it was one of the best camping experiences I've ever had! The site offers spectacular mountainside views that are truly breathtaking. The bell tent was fully equipped with all the necessary camping amenities, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Jennifer and Tedd, the hosts, were incredibly generous, providing more than enough firewood, a full bag of charcoal, and fire starters at no extra cost. The camping utensils and the Weber charcoal grill were well-maintained, making cooking outdoors a pleasure. The tent itself was cozy, featuring a queen bed with ample linen, wool blankets, pillows, and even a couple of chairs. They also thoughtfully provided an additional cot complete with a cot pad, wool blanket, winter blanket, and an extra pillow, which was perfect for our needs. The shower and compost toilets were located close to nature, enhancing the whole outdoor experience. We loved the peacefulness of the place. When we needed extra buckets of water during a rainstorm, Jennifer and Tedd went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, this was one of my top camping trips. The views were spectacular, and the tents were spaced far apart, offering great privacy and a serene environment without any noise disturbance. I can’t wait to return next summer!
