Forest setting, only one group per night. Lots of privacy to stretch out and hang hammocks, pitch tents or set up your camper. Lots of space to walk about. Corners marked with bird houses. Lots of firewood on site. Fire ring and benches around. Changing blind for camping shower or changing cloths. Hear the birds or see deer passing through. Short distance to Ithaca's many wonders! What a great weekend location. Ithaca is full of great trails, amazing waterfalls, and an amazing little city. If you're content with a quiet location and bringing your own water then this place has everything else you'll need, all within about 15 minutes of the Commons. Very quiet, some roadway noise but after dark there were few cars that needed ot go down the road. One porta potty on site, a great selection of chairs and benches around the fire pit, and a ton of great firewood. I do wish there had been a picnic table but the table on sawhorses worked well enough for meal prep. The ground is mostly sloped but there are locations around that are flat enough for a tent. Highly recommended!
