The yurt on Nancy's land was a great experience. It was comfortable, spacious and clean. I loved that it was so close for beach. Great place to grill and reminisce with old friends. Highly recommended.

The Yurt Sanctuary was calm peaceful place to stay near the beach. We used it to have a place to crash after a fishing trip and grill etc! Every was as listed, one thing you might want to keep in mind during summer month it does get hot! But the evening was very cool and comfy with the fans but luckily the beach is literally a 7min drive. We had a blast and will definitely come back again!

The yurt was by far one of the best part of my four year old and i’s summer. We arrived late at night, Nancy sent directions to make sure we were able to find it easily and safely. Despite it being late, she had the bed made up for us and walked over to show us the outside bathroom, sink and shower. Being without TV or wifi was exactly what my kid and i both needed and really let us unplug a bit. The hens, beautiful garden and night time cricket orchestra were just beautiful. Nancy came over to help us build a fire in her (self made) fire pit on our last night, came back with a fresh bowl of strawberries for us before bed, then fed the fire for me while i put my kid to bed. On our way home the last morning, Nancy picked three black eyed susan flowers to give to my kid, brought him to the chicken coop and showed him how to collect eggs the hens had laid. We hope to return to Nancy, the hens, and her beautiful yurt this fall any many times in the future. Thank you for helping us unplug, Nancy

I love the tent camping on Nancy's property. she was very welcoming from the start, from consistent communication from the time I booked, to the time I arrived. The property is very peaceful and serene, with the most beautiful chickens that are in the hen. she even help me get a phone mattress which I forgot, so I can sleep comfortably on the cot. what really helped, was use of the charcoal grill, and the fire pit, as well as the picnic benches and chairs. I will definitely recommend this to anybody who wants to have a nice peaceful night out camping in the Hamptons, and I look forward to my next stay there

The Yurt Sanctuary was everything and more we had hoped for! A few friends and I were looking for an easy trip outside the city, wanting to be both in nature and near the beach. Nancy's yurt was absolutely perfect. It was easy to get to and find with lots of little things that made it so special - a fire, hammock, free range chickens, electricity and comfortable beds, outdoor shower, and even the outdoor bathroom was pleasant! Nancy was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It's also really well located - we rode bikes to the beach one day, could walk or drive into town (30 min nice walk or 5-10 min drive). Will definitely be back!

This place was awesome ! So clean and nice and private . The outdoor shower is fantastic and there are free range chickens walking around in the morning. The fire pit was very nice at night and they even provided wood for us . Nancy also greeted us with some drinks in the fridge and a few sweet treats. Fresh blueberries in the morning were a nice treat! Very good stay and we will be returning again!
