We love having chill rock climbers, hikers and families on our farm/wedding venue.  It's not a campground!  It's just a super cool place to have some privacy and a camp fire and be really close to the best hiking and climbing, and swimming holes and farmers markets and road biking around. Horse farm / Wedding venue super close to Gunx, Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, Lipman Park (Mt biking) Great for rock climbers, families, hikers, horse folks. Sites are private with fire pits. It is $25/ person per night! Strict cancellation policy so if not sure, just book for 1 person to guaranty a space and settle up upon arrival when you know your actual plans and numbers ? Amazing stay!
I didn't get to explore all the sites, I wanted more of an open area to camp and see some stars. The views of the mountains were gorgeous.

We arrived on the later side of a dreary drizzling evening so we didn’t get to appreciate the properties views but with this said, we enjoyed our stay. The sites are dispersed along a sloping hill which have mowed out entrances and generous sized sites. Our site could have easily had two large SUVs or camper vans with room to spare. It had a huge solid fire pit and while we brought our own fire wood is info on where to purchase some if needed. The directions entering the farm are clear and we particularly enjoyed hearing the horses whinny in the morning. The host Wally was very responsive to our messages and we lived that we were invited to drive through and pick our favorite site. Can’t wait to return with better weather to take in the fall colors and view.

Honestly it's a beautiful place,the view is breathtaking especially in the morning. There could be some gravel on the road going to the site and the portable bathrooms are not very clean. Otherwise I would say it was amazing even in the rain.

Great easy camp ground
great easy camp ground. great communication. gotta bring your own chairs to sit on. amazing farm stand at the bottom of the hill.
