Cloud 9 was the perfect spot to bring our two kids, ages 8 and 11, for a camping weekend. We were far enough out to see beautiful stars at night overlooking the valley, but close enough to town to run for forgotten items. The outhouse was close to our spot, which is always a plus with kids, and the platform gave us a spot to pitch our tents off the ground. Although not completely private, we couldn't hear much of our neighbors (except for some chatty huskies and a one off visit from a sweet old GSP). Tim was a super friendly camp supervisor and helped grab us a huge bundle of new campwood when we ran out. Plus, the solar fairy light were an adorable and helpful touch.
The only negatives were being across the valley from a fishing campground, as some of those campers played loud music at night that echoed across the valley, and the ruts leading up the hill to drive to our site were rough on our low lying vehicle. Otherwise, we had a great time and would love to go back!
