D & K stands for Dave & Kelly. We are a family run ranch with five wonderful children. We also have had the privilege to house many foster children over the years. During your ride here you will also enjoy the company of interns from around the world. Along with getting to know people and enjoying life, we also have the privilege of working with many wonderful horses. When you come to the Ranch you will also get to meet Wranglers that will match you with a horse and treat you as part of the D&K family! D&K Ranch is located in the middle of the Finger Lakes National Forest. This Forest is unique to the East due to the fact that it has grazing lands available similar to out West. We have 16,000 acres of National Forest trails to ride. In addition, there are 30 acres of wooded trails at D&K Ranch. Rides at D&K Ranch will be customized to your comfort level. We look forward to sharing our favorite pastime with you! - Let's Ride! Learn more about this land: Our cabins give you the chance to vacation comfortably along the beautiful Finger Lakes National Forest. We are centrally located in a nationally recognized wine country. Our goal is to create a horse back riding vacation designed just for you! Comes with 1 king bed and a single bed. We welcome all guests to learn more about horses during your stay. Riding, grooming and private lessons available. A horse safety will need to be attended before you ride. This cabin has a shared bathroom with hot water and lights, however it is off the grid so we do have a charging station at the shared kitchen.

1000 out of 10 Recommend!

The place and site are even more gorgeous in person. The Hipcamp photos do not do it justice. The hosts were wonderful, helpful and always quick in their answers. This is a good place for people with different camping levels thanks to the many amenities (fridge, black stone, BBQ, running water, shower, toilet). The lands are big and gorgeous with a great biodiversity of frogs, horses, fireflies, birds and ducks. 1000 out of 10 would recommend. Don't miss out on the D&K ranch!

We loved camping at D&K ranch. The farm is beautiful. Kelly is a wonderful host. The shared kitchen was fun. We look forward to many return trips!

10/10 Great ppl and riding teachers

COULD NOT RECOMMEND MORE. Great people. Great teachers. Very informative and moved at a comfortable pace in getting us riding. 10/10 would recommend. Even though they're far from home, we have to come back.

Ranch Stay

I arrived later than expected due to traffic, and Kelly was very accommodating and was willing to meet me once I arrived at the D&K Ranch. The location was clean and provided unexpected amenities, such as an outdoor kitchen space. She made coffee every morning. When I decided to extend one more day, it was not a problem. I plan to return but with friends next time. Kelly, Thank you so much. PS I enjoyed the Horseback Riding!!

Super accommodating. Very responsive and clean. It's a haul to get to your site but if you get there early enough, you'll get a ride out by horse and wagon.
