Easy entry off a quiet well maintained country road in the town of Conesville, NY. Sitting on 5 acres you will notice the beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains. Feel free to hike the entire property. Hike down the gorge approximately 80ft to the seasonal mountain fed creek. You will find massive boulders, and various artifacts as this property was once a mining operation dating back to the early 1920s. Be mindful of partially fallen trees on the hillside along the south end. It’s a steep hike down so get your hiking poles and good boots. The north end is an easier hike. If you find any cool artifacts they are yours to keep or just leave them and we will add them to the display for the new cabin. Check out the iconic ‘57 Chevy Bel Air halfway down the gorge. With your stay we are offering 20% off your cabin stay when it becomes available. 20 minutes to Windham, Minekill State Park and Bates State Forest(down the road.) The Milk Run is approximately 15 min away back toward the interstate. There is a dump station, gas station and they have great sandwiches for the ride home. So many great things to see, just ask. SITE 3 IS SUITABLE FOR TENTS OR CLASS B/TRUCK/VAN CAMPERS AS THIS SITE IS LOCATED IN A GRASSY AREA CLOSE TO THE GORGE. THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING AND THE LOCATION IS QUIET. SITE 3 IS APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET FROM THE NEAREST RV SITE. THIS SITE HAS ROOM FOR 3 -4 TENTS AND TWO VEHICLES. THERE IS A FIRE PIT FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT OR TO USE FOR COOKING. DRINK YOUR MORNING COFFEE WHILE SITTING ON THE FLAT TOP BOULDER WHILE ENJOYING THE VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS AND THE STARS AT NIGHT. Check out Bates State Forest (5 min), Windham Mountain (20 min), Mine Kill State Park (20 min), The Rockland Ciderworks and Schoharie Reservoir (10 min). Get fresh hard rolls from the Conesville Country store. Use Coyote Creek for your base camp as it is centrally located to many wonderful locales. If you stay with us now, your cabin stay will be discounted 20%. We have 5 acres, and we are not strict on where you go as long as it does not interfere with other guests. We are flexible with check in/out times as long as it does not interfere with the next guests check in.

Site 2 is a combination of grass/gravel on level land close to the gorge. The view is just as spectacular as Site 1 and 3. Enjoy the 5 acres and hike down the gorge to the mountain fed seasonal creek, do some bird watching or just stare at the amazing mountain view and the star filled sky at night.

Campsite nicely spaced and is approximately 50ft from closest RV site. There is a rock fire pit for your enjoyment. Check out Bates State Forest(5 min), Windham Mountain(20 min), Mine Kill State Park (20 min), The Rockland Ciderworks and Schohaire Reservoir (10 min). Get fresh hard rolls from the Conesville Country store. Use Coyote Creek for your base camp as it is centrally located to many wonderful locales. This site sits closer to the road yet still private. You come down the driveway and look to your right and this site sits in a grassy area along the tree line. The views are amazing and a good distance from the other sites. I would recommend this site for tent campers or class B vans, small class C or truck campers.

Frankie was very easy to communicate with and responsive whenever I needed something. I appreciated his local recommendations and flexibility with our arrival and departure time, as well as the firewood left at our site! The land was really beautiful and not too far from the areas we were there to explore. The other sites on the property are closer than described in the listing, but our neighbors were friendly and we would stay again. Thanks Frankie

We had such a relaxing weekend on this property! It’s off a quiet road with a fire pit and you can see the stars at night. Frankie is very responsive and made some great recommendations for us in the area! We can’t wait to return!

This was a great location and the host was so friendly and helpful! I enjoyed visiting with him and the other campers that were there with their two sweet dogs that my dogs enjoyed visiting and playing with. It was quiet and peaceful and beautiful and easy to find and get in and out of. Would definitely stay here again.Thank you for the hospitality and great stay!

Was looking for a place to stay for a night while passing through that was still in the mountain area secluded from others and Frankie’s land was just the right place for it! Views of mountains while enjoying a fire and after dark was great for viewing the stars. Definitely recommend if you need a place to stay while enjoying the catskill mountain area

Quiet, beautiful views. Other sites were empty so we had all area to ourselves. It is al flattened and no shade from trees, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

I had a fantastic stay at Coyote Creek! Frankie was very quick to respond to any of my questions. The campsite was very easy to locate, even in the dark. This place is great for stargazing- I've truly never seen the stars so clearly! I would 100% recommend staying here and will come back the next time I'm in the area!

Great property with a gorgeous view! Felt like camping right on top of a mountain, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Amazing stargazing, even got to see some of the northern lights with the solar storm that happened while we were there. Perfect base camp location for access to the Catskills and some scenic driving. Frankie was a friendly, helpful and super responsive host. No complaints!

The site was open with beautiful views. It's like camping on top of the mountain. It was easy to access and close to a lot of outdoor activities. There's a cool gorge on the property but it's a tough hike down, back up is harder!

If you go here, please understand that the listing is accurate and you need to be self-contained. This is a great spot for an RV! We camped in a tent because we are experience campers (we have an awesome camp toilet for example lol). The property had a really nice view and plenty of space. A big rock made for the perfect table to cook on. I enjoyed laying in my hammock. Frankie was super communicative and friendly, and even sent his neighbor to show me where the most awesome swimming hole was (Prattsville). I enjoyed descending the steep hill to the creek and spending time there. We also went to Minekill State Park nearby. The cabin that Frankie is building on the property looks beautiful, so you should definitely go when it is open! I definitely plan to be back and explore the area some more. Lots of beautiful sites and cute towns and great hikes!
