Bear Cabin is situated at the top of the hill, overlooking the valley. We live in a rural community, so as you sit outside at night, expect to hear farm animals from neighboring properties. Your cabin is located on our property, where we also have many free-range chickens and bunnies. If you're looking for farm-fresh eggs, you're in the right place!Bear Cabin – Off-Grid Rustic Getaway: Escape to the simplicity of nature at Bear Cabin, a cozy off-grid retreat designed for those looking to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. Surrounded by peace and quiet, this rustic cabin offers everything you need for a comfortable camping experience without sacrificing the charm of off-grid living. Inside, you'll stay warm on cool evenings with a wood-burning stove, while solar-powered lighting provides soft illumination after dark. There is no electrical service, allowing you to disconnect from everyday distractions and reconnect with nature. Outside, relax around the bonfire ring, complete with an attached cooking grate perfect for campfire meals. We've added a small propane grill to make outdoor cooking and evenings comfortable in any season. For added convenience, Bear Cabin includes a separate restroom and shower unit featuring: Propane on-demand hot water Solar battery-powered water system Private toilet and shower facilities Whether you're looking for a weekend escape, a hunting retreat, or a peaceful place to unwind, Bear Cabin offers a unique blend of rustic charm and practical comfort in an authentic off-grid setting. Firewood provided, firepit, wood burning fireplace. You may have a fire in your fireplace inside the cabin. There's also a campfire ring outside of bear cabin with some wood provided.

On leash. Polite dogs only, please. We do live on the property as well and we have chickens and a dog of our own. We ask that your doggo remain leashed at all times and not temperamental toward chickens.

Showers available

Hot water , cold water only. Its an off grid shower- toilet unit. Propane on demand hot water, powered by solar energy for the lights and fan.

Grill over firepit, stovetop or hot plate. We provide a grill grate over the fire as well as a small propane portable grill to use if you would like.
