Rob was amazing host and it's always good to talk about Long Island and the good old days. Rob makes sure his guests his wood and their having good time by the fire. We will back , again.

I am a repeat guest. Rob goes out of his way to make sure his guests are taken care of. He relit our fire and made sure we had enough wood.
We finally were able to use some of the horse treats and feed the horses, today.

Ron goes out of way his way to make his guests feel welcomed, along with his wife. He brought us fire wood and some gas to help the fire take off.
The place is peaceful and well taken care of. I would highly recommend staying at this country farm

We love the forest spot at Jacqueline's. She and Rob are always relaxed, fun, and friendly, and we love the opportunity to commune a little with the horses and donkeys. :) The woods feel secluded and are beautiful. In 4 visits at slightly varying times I'd say the most mosquitoes were in the our June visit, whereas our Labor day visit was basically none, since things dry up through the season. We are so grateful to come to this place and will return at any opportunity!!!

It was a great experience staying at Jacqueline's farm. The port-a-potty was clean, and they had the added touch of putting TP in zip-top plastic bags, which was perfect given the driving rain! I did have a bit of a panicked second checking in, when Jacqueline sent someone to check me in, and that person jokingly acted like I was in the wrong place. I get that that was funny to that person at that moment, but I just wasn't feeling it at that moment. Also, the barn light was on most if not all of the night, which made it a little hard to get to sleep.

Jackie and Rob’s place was perfect. It’s remote, quiet and very peaceful. It was just me, the deer, the birds and the horses nearby. It was exactly what I needed. I’d certainly return if back in this area.

OH MAN DOES MY FAMILY LOVE STAYING HERE. This was our third stay (2022, 2023, 2024) and the forest site feels like our little home away from home. Jackie and Rob have been so kind to us, letting our kids interact with their (extremely cool!!!) horses, donkeys, and chickens, and giving us thoughtful extras! Even if we couldn't camp there, I know we would happily return just for the hilarity of Rob's stories. The forest site is like a private little slice of perfection, safe and fun for my kids to explore and discover creatures like toads and salamanders. Having been in late June and mid July, there were indeed a lot of mosquitoes, but when we were there in early September, the forest floor was much drier and mosquitoes were really not noticeable. We love it regardless-- waking up to the sounds of Wood Thrush and Hooded Warbler is priceless to me!! Nearby Stony Brook state park was a wonderful hangout spot for our family too, we loved picnicking, playground, and swimming at the natural swim area (check dates to be sure when it is open). Letchworth SP is further away but ABSOLUTELY worth the visit (we've gone twice)! What a great little spot that we have been fortunate to discover.

My cat Gabby and I were thrilled to escape the hustle and bustle at this peaceful, secluded property hosted by Jacqueline and her husband Rob. Their warm hospitality shone through when I forgot a container for water, and Jacqueline kindly offered hers without hesitation. Even with rain almost every day, we embraced the natural beauty of the land with a little help from our gracious hosts.
Gabby couldn't resist daily strolls, returning from her adventures happily exhausted. Our explorations were made even more special with visits from the friendly horses who didn't let the rain dampen their spirits. We quickly felt right at home in this picturesque setting.
Jacqueline's local knowledge further enriched our stay when she suggested a visit to Letchworth State Park to see the breathtaking waterfalls. Taking her advice, we ventured out on the one rain-free day of our trip and were rewarded with stunning views of cascading water amidst a backdrop of vibrant greenery. It was an unforgettable experience!
Back at the property, we appreciated the charming one-room cabin, which offered a cozy refuge during rainy moments. Gabby and I found ourselves captivated by the tranquility of this place, and we're already looking forward to another visit to this hidden gem with its delightful hosts.

We stayed at main farm 2 campsite. The site was clean and well maintained. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly; they gave us some free farm eggs and fire wood. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet site with flat ground and lots of green grass.

Wonderful host! My daughter and I enjoyed meeting the animals on the farm and giving them some treats. The cabin was a wonderful place to stay and we hope to return in the future. It was perfect for a small group and secluded from the main residence.

What a beautiful place to stay! Not only was it full of amazing wildflowers and wildlife (we had deer walk right up to our van several times), but they had chickens and horses for us to interact with as well. The horses were super friendly and we loved being able to pet them and give them treats. We were able to purchase some of their chicken eggs as well and they were amazing! Jacqueline and Rob were super friendly, highly responsive, and kept the place in immaculent condition. They provided us with a fire pit, a porta potty, and a picnic table. All of which we made good use. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by Nature, this is your place!

The property was beautiful! They even gave us some carrots so our kids could feed the horses. Jacqueline was very responsive with directions and very accommodating considering we ended up arriving a couple hours later than planned.

We loved, loved, LOVED camping here!! We got to use the woods campsite and it was wonderful. Forester with AWD managed the trail in dry conditions-- we moved closer to the field before heavy rain. The woods were just perfection. Cool, mossy, beautiful, private, quiet, magical. Mosquitoes not bad and no poison ivy-- paradise! Our favorite wildlife observations were a Northern Slimy Salamander and many red efts, as well as hearing a Barred Owl and seeing dozens of tiny toads (which we loved every single one). We camped three nights, visited Letchworth and Stony Brook state parks. Both were stunning and we absolutely wish we had more time. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, completely chill, and so kind-- delivering us firewood and a cooking grate, and letting our kids interact with their animals. The donkeys are so cute, it's ridiculous. Wish we had more time to hang out! I was truly sad to leave, and on the long drive home our 5 year old was asking when we could go back. Hope we will manage sometime :) Thank you Jacqueline, thank you Rob!

Very peaceful and beautiful spot! When we arrived, we were greeted by one of the hosts and shown to our site. The campsite is at the back of the property and is entirely private. The host told us we could set up anywhere along the tree line and that there were two firepits to choose from. A trash can and a small cassette toilet are available for campers.
One of our stay's favorite parts was interacting with the host's horses. Jacqueline gave us some treats to feed the horses and the baby donkey! We loved hanging out and playing with our dog during the day; the stars were amazing at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

A very peaceful spot for a couple of nights. Jacqueline was particularly accommodating as I was the first guest of the season and booked 30 minutes prior to a sunset arrival when my previous lodging fell through. Only downside was a limited cell signal at the site itself, but plenty of signal up the hill on road by driveway as I had some image galleries to transfer before turning in.

I was tent camping in the winter. I came up to do photography shots, 2 hrs away at Niagara Falls and decided to stay here.
This is the first time I’ve used Hip camp and thanks to my hosts Rob and Jacqueline. It won’t be the last.
It’s such a beautiful property and my hosts were so kind and wonderful. The animals there were so friendly. I had brought my 6 month old companion puppy and the other animals on the farm helped her feel right at home.
My hosts went way above and beyond in terms hospitality. I was expecting that much kindness. It was a bit overwhelming in a positive way. It was very faith restoring.
I’ll be back this year in 2022 🙂. Needless to say. I’m excited to go back.
Thank you to my hosts Rob and Jacqueline. I went for the photography, I’ll keep coming back cause the people.

Thanks to Rob & Jackie. What a beautiful place to camp. We set our tent right along side the horse pasture and before we could get set up, On of the horses walked over to say hello. So peaceful. I'm an early riser and it was so relaxing to wake up before dawn and have a cup of coffee while listening to the chickens and horses start their day. So close to Stony Brook - one of our favorite state parks. We will be returning.

This property is both peaceful and beautiful! We had a last minute trip with the kids. Jacqueline was very accommodating even with the last minute plan.
When we pulled in I was already in love with all of the horses. They were absolutely beautiful. Sunday morning we had some meet and greet tim with them and the kids fed them some treats.
It was only a short drive from Stonybrook State Park, and we spent some time there hiking and swimming.
It was a beautiful weekend despite the bit of rain. We will definitely be return campers! 😁

Great spot, lots of room and private. Had everything we needed for a couple nights of tent camping. The host Jackie was very accommodating to our late arrival and had everything ready for us. She even gave the kids a tour of the horse farm, super sweet! Site is close to Stony Brook Falls and Letchworth State Parks.

Staying at come find a smile was an awesome experience Jacqueline and Ron were awesome host s the campsite was amazing and they helped us with anything that we needed from helping us with wood and water. The setting was amazing set back in the woods all by ourselves with nobody around us for as far as we could see. So anyone considering staying there definitely do it.

Come find your smile was a nice place to camp with my two kids, we were the only ones there and had plenty of privacy which we were looking for. The hosts Jacqueline and Rob were extremely nice and accommodating. The horses that roam in the paddocks as well as the sound of the rooster in the morning made it a fun atmosphere. The only negative we experienced was someone’s loud music playing in the evening until around 1130, not sure where it’s coming from maybe one of the neighbors but other than that everything was great and I would recommend it.

Jackie and Rob were such kind, welcoming hosts. The farm was beautiful! The sweet dogs kept us company and the horses were beautiful. This was the perfect place to stay for daytime trips to both Letchworth and Stony Brook State Parks.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Sandbar Farm. They were extremely welcoming and attentive to whatever we needed. Everything about our stay was great. We had the privacy we wanted while also getting to meet some very cool people and animals, easy access to town and parks if we wanted to get up and do something, and they were super dog friendly. We were able to buy some firewood for our personal campfire and paid a little extra to go on a trail ride with the horses (our favorite part of the trip by far). I definitely recommend stopping by Jacquelines and Rob’s farm. They made us feel like just a couple of friends stopping by for a visit. You can just tell how much love, time, and energy they put into their animals and their land. It was the perfect mini camping trip to relax after the craziest months ever!!

Site and hosts were great. No bathroom. Sweet, beautiful and happy farm animals were very happy to have the visit and attention from our kids. It made the stay very special. Awoke one morning to sweet sounds of a nearby horse chomping on some grass. There was a humming during the night that we were told was farm equipment on another property nearby. Overall, had a nice stay and would recommend.
