Butternut Grove Campsites allows campers to visit the Catskills and connect with nature. Offering a relaxing atmosphere while only 2 hours from New York City and 1 hour from Binghamton. Butternut Grove Campsites creates lasting memories of camping, great people, and fishing experiences. Our goal is to bring a family-oriented atmosphere to our campground, offering fun activities and a variety of desired amenities for the entire fishermen's family and his best friends. Owned By Bridget & Paul along with their three children and Gaston the pig and Rulo the dog. We are delighted to join the Butternut Grove Family with hopes to bring good vibes and good times! At Butternut Grove Campsite, you can enjoy various amenities such as a heated bath house with hot showers, laundry, quality firewood delivered to your site, handmade "Flies by Greg" for purchase, kayaks and tubes for rent, propane gas available on-site, fire ring and picnic table at each site, bag ice, water and electricity at each site with 30 amp and 50 amp electric, Wi-Fi, winter storage and winterizing for RVs, dump station on-site, honey-wagon services available, and a fly fishing guide named Joe Rist who is the head and owner of Trout Town Flies.lies

Book one of our river front sites or a site in our grove along the famous Beaver Kill River. Excellent trout fishing and beautiful scenic views in every season. The river where is only steps away from your tent, trailer or RV.   Heated Bath house is a short walk from all campsites and offers hot showers. Each site has water, electric, a picnic table and a firepit.  Firewood is sold at the campground and delivered to your site.During winter months water to site will be shut off but bathhouse will always be open. Campground owners will be on site to assist if needed. Book with us today!

Great location, not the most isolated spot due to it being located right off the road, but the amenities and the convenience of them are fantastic. Walking up to the river roaring is a lovely feeling, unfortunately I did not have the time to do some fishing, but I know the trout were calling my name! Have to stop by again!

This campground was a total surprise wasn’t sure what to expect when I first booked it. When I first reached out to them they couldn’t have been nicer. Showed up and everything seemed to be very well kept. New water and electric the decking was a nice touch with the gravel. The bathrooms are very well kept and clean, the owner just seemed like they couldn’t do enough for you. The campsite rest on the beautiful river full of trout. I will be returning for sure, very please.

Lovely place and lovely management,super helpful. Decks overseeing the river were hightlight. We wished there was availablity. Clean updated bathrooms. If you are into fishing it might be the perfect place. We werent but still enjoyed it. There is reception so u can use ur phones( i had to use for work) . No need to buy firewood etc from outside.

Right by the water where trout are jumping above the water to feed, friendly neighbor Steve, and potentially a LOT of fly fishing. Place is really great - my wife LOVED it here. Definitely coming back

The campsite was along the Beaver Kill river. The campsite was very well kept. Getting in and out with a 32 foot Super C was easy. The owners and campers were very friendly. I would love to stay there again!

Great campground! We had a beautiful view of the river. The campsite had everything we needed. We were set up in minutes. Everyone was very friendly and made you feel right at home. Rulo, the dog, is a great ambassador for the campgrounds!!

Loved this campground! No spot is too far from the river, there are amenities for the kids, and a little bandstand where they appear to show films on the weekends. I only stayed one night, but I will return for longer!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Getaway! Roscoe Campground is hands down one of the best campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — they’re incredibly friendly and helpful. You can tell they truly care about the experience of their guests. The campground itself is spacious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Everything was spotless, from the campsites to the facilities. There’s plenty of room to spread out, relax, and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded. And the river? Absolutely amazing. Whether you’re fishing, floating, or just sitting by the water taking it all in, it’s the perfect touch of nature that makes this place extra special. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and scenic camping spot!

I had the perfect weekend at Butternut Grove. We stayed at site 35 which is in the grove section. There is the perfect amount of tree coverage for shade and it still gives that woodsy feel. You’re right by the river and so you can hear the noises at night which was awesome. We enjoyed lounging by the river during the day, watching the fly fishers and playing in the water. We met the owner, Paul, as well as his kids and the owners have gotta be the best part of the campground. They helped us out a ton getting settled, brought us fire wood, and offered to have us for dinner along with the other campers. Overall 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to come back

This was our first real trip in our RV. Despite it being November and chilly, we had a nice time. Kept that fire pit going all day. Appreciated being able to bring our doggies. Nice view right on the riverside. Probably even lovelier in the spring and summer.

We had the nicest long weekend at this cute little campground. Very friendly. Seems to have a lot of seasonal and regular campers. Big fly fishing area, and the water is pristine. Very nice place to go and unwind. Not fancy, but decent bath house with showers. Lots of dogs (which we love!)- so if that’s not your thing, then this isn’t your spot.

We had a great spot#53, right on the river! Jim our host was wonderful, helpful and very knowledgeable and friendly. There are many seasonal campers here as well as short stays. Very peaceful and while the camp store is small it is well equipped with the basics and then some. We will be back! Thank you!

The spot is very good, I think it’s the best one in whole campground, it’s have more privacy then others, with water, electric on site. This spot is good for tents, cars, if you have trailer you need probably back up for good 100 ft other then that it’s awesome location right on the water

I loved tent camping on Bridget’s land the view was amazing and the directions were clear. My kids loved the riverside enjoy playing in the water . They have everything in there in store wood for $20 was 30 or 40 woods a lot . The bathrooms and shower, laundry was clean hot water. Loved next time I would be one week you never get bored, the owners was so nice and friendly to they help you with anything you need In the night you sleep with the river sound beautiful Thanks

What a beautiful fun and friendly campground. The owners’ family is kind and joyous. The campsite was right in between a playground and the Beaverkill which was great for swimming, fishing and stationary floating (anchor your float with a rope).

What a wonderful campground in the Catskill area. Bridget was accommodating, welcoming and even helped us out with a small issue we had. Campground is next to a beautiful stream which is refreshing to lounge in when the weather is hot or to fly fish in. Everyone in the campground made you feel welcome and were very friendly. The town of Roscoe is a short drive away as well as other small quaint towns. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again should we visit the area in the future!
