Bisaccia Botanical Gardens

Mark was so helpful in getting parked and his property is beautiful! He had a great farm stand and even makes baked goods. I would definitely recommend staying there if you're looking for a place in this area.

Absolutely fantastic. Very generous owner and their foods are amazing. The owner harvests their own vegetables and create their own baked bread which is outstanding (I suggest you enjoy it together when they serve breakfast). I love how they allow the travelers to use their basement bathroom which is super clean and neat. We would definitely want to come back for more experience since it felt like 3 days was too short :)

Little peaceful garden getaway

Mark is such a wonderful host, you have everything you need for. Self contained stay, he’s got potable water and electric, if you select that type of site. It’s peaceful and beautiful, he’s also got a great garden on his property. I recommend staying with Mark:)

We stayed for one night while traveling. It was early in the season and it was very rainy and cold, so we didn’t get to enjoy the property. But Mark was very nice and friendly. He came out in the rain to assist us, and checked in with us before we left. All in all, it was a nice place to stay. I would like to stay here again when the weather is nicer and his vegetables are ready 😋.

We stayed at Site 2 for an evening traveling through. It was a bit breezy and cool but we bought some fire wood and had a nice fire. The bathroom is in the lower level of Mark’s home and it was warm and clean. The site sits back from the road but the road seemed fairly busy. All and all it was a nice stay.

Site 2 - Bisaccia Botanical Gardens

This was a great place for a peacful stop over. We just needed one night accommodations but wish we could have stayed longer! The property is simple, beautiful and close enough to town. I am an artist and loved painting there. We would definitely come back when in the area. We use a 21 ft. camping trailer and would suggest that anyting bigger might have a hard time getting to the camping spots. We had no trouble however.

We had a great stay on Mark’s land. It was a quick one-night trip on our road trip from the Northeast to Midwest. Located close to some very pretty, storybook towns. We stopped at Alison Roman’s corner shop in Bloomville, 10mins away, and picked up yummy odds and ends to make dinner at our site. The grass was fluffy and even, very comfortable without a sleeping pad. The bathroom was clean and overall vibes were nice! Would stay here again :)

We were able to back the camper into the mowed site, Mark had the electric and water ready for hookup. It was very quiet and relaxing. We were able to watch deer and turkeys every day, which was a bonus to the incredible view.

Mark's land was beautiful, lots of wildflowers and birds. Site was level and power available, also bathroom in house was available. Mark is a four star host and we would camp there again.

Site 2 - Bisaccia Botanical Gardens

What a lovely place this was. Feels private despite being close to the road. If I ever travel through this part of NY again, I would stay again, hopefully when it’s warmer. The old city of Delhi, 10 minutes away, is a very charming historic town with neat places to explore. There was a fire pit with wood and a table. Note for tent campers: It’s definitely rustic! Reserve in advance to make plans for a toilet if needed, or bring your own.

Fantastic host. Very kind and friendly. They could accommodate to change spots. Also, the restroom was super clean. There was a hill just there to easily climb up and see a perfect view from there. Recommend for any types of camper - family, couple, friends and solo.

It’s a pleasant tent stay. The site is located at beautiful open field. Host was so nice, easily get firewood, and the toilet was really comfortable. The scenery from the top of hill was beautiful. It’s just 15 min. walk from site.

This was our first hip camp experience and Mark definitely got us hooked. His property is stunning. Mark was the perfect host. Made us feel welcome, showed us around the property, and gave us great suggestions on things to do in the area. My only regret is that we forgot to purchase some of his beautiful plants. He definitely has a green thumb. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a beautiful relaxing place to camp, this is your spot! Thank you Mark

It was great!!! Host was super helpful, great location for hiking in the Catskills, campsites are large, only problem there is I like sticks to start campfire and there wasn’t much loose sticks. Property is well maintained!! Not buggy.

Mark was so kind to our family with three kids. Access to a bath was handy and this was an excellent, easy base to explore Oneonta and venture to Cooperstown. Lots of things for the kids to do, nice flat campsite on freshly mowed grass and cookies?

Had a great time here! It was a last minute reservation, and Mark was very accommodating, including the later check in time. The area was also great and quiet, with an amazing view of the hills. The street is near, but cars didn't pass as often so it didn't bother me. The only possible down side is, due to the open area, there isn't a shade to pitch a tent in, but since I was only there for the night, it didn't bother me at all. The restroom and shower they offer is part of their house, so amazing accommodation there too. I would highly recommend Bisaccia Botanical Gardens if you're in the area and want a quiet open area to camp in.

Mark and Sue were so friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The use of their shower is a real kindness to us smelly campers! And yes, as some reviewers said, the road is there, but barely a car came by the whole time and who cares when the view from your tent is so spectacular! And the stars!!

Mark’s property was quiet, clean, and peaceful. A state highway is nearby but the traffic wasn’t disruptive. Great place to motorcycle camp!
