Wonderful spot! We found this site last minute and were so glad we booked it for the night. Easy to find, and was perfect to park our minivan. Gave us space to walk and to explore a bit before returning to the road. Would love to come back for a longer stay!

Can't say enough about Al's camp! Al adds a lot of extras..a very clean outhouse, lots of firewood and non potable water. We had a nice time on the trails that are nicely kept. We didn't have fly on tent so the fireflies gave quite a show! Thank you so much for a lovely camping experience :)

This was a nice little spot. The ground at the first campsite was a bit rocky, but there were others to choose from. The provided firewood was amazing and the tree coverage was great with the heat. We saw some deer and various other wildlife.

We loved our time at Al's Camp! The solar path lights at the RV site were a nice touch, as was the non-potable water next to the firepit.
The tree sculptures were magical, and we were able to set up our solar suitcase panels at the tent site. I wish we had been able to do more walking on the trails at the site, but just walking down to the creek was fun! We also spent quite some time one morning watching and listening to birds of prey circling above the trees.
You'll also hear planes, trains, and automobiles, but it doesn't detract from the experience. We'll be back if we're in the area again! We also appreciated how responsive Al was to our questions.

Great private camping with 40 acres to explore. There was ample dry firewood and the outhouse was clean and well kept. Loved being surrounded by woods but able to see the stars through the canopy. We chose the tent site further in to feel even closer to nature. Lots to do nearby if looking for activities off site.

This is a great location for anybody wanting to visit wineries along Seneca lake. It was very easy to find. Plenty of space for our pop-up camper, and the amenities for camping were excellent. The down-facing night lights near the bench and outhouse are helpful. All the firewood was lovely. We had the most delicious steaks that we cooked over the coals. The noise from Highway 14 is definitely there, but so were the calls of the osprey that we enjoyed listening to.

I recently had a pleasure of staying at Al's campsite and I must say, it was a truly amazing experience. The location itself was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Al, the owner, is a fantastic guy. Incredibly friendly and helpful individual, who goes above and beyond to ensure that his guests have a memorable stay.
One of the highlights of our trip was the abundance of firewood provided by Al. We were able to have cosy campfires every night, which added to the overall ambience of the campsite. Additionally, the kids had a blast picking black raspberries on the campsite trails. It was a great activity that kept them entertained and connected with nature.
In addition to the wonderful aspects I mentioned, I wanted to highlight that our group consisted of 10 people - 5 adults and 5 kids.
Overall, I highly recommend Al's campsite. The beautiful surroundings, excellent maintenance, and the warm hospitality of Al make it a perfect destination for a memorable camping experience.

We've stayed at Al's Camp several times, it's one of our favorites! He's a great host, and the property is so fun to explore. He provides plenty of firewood which is so convenient. One of our favorite things is occasionally hearing the horse drawn wagons coming down the road.

We had a great time at Al's camp. It's private with a picnic table, fire pit, benches and an outhouse. Firewood is provided which was an incredible benefit. There are many trails to explore on the property too. We can't wait to go back!

Al’s Camp was great! I got there around 9PM. I pulled in and set up camp. I have a van so set up took no time. It’s pretty dark, so make sure you have lanterns.
I wasn’t bothered by the occasional road sounds, my sleep app had me tracked as the best sleep in years.
The next morning the pit toilet/outhouse served it’s purpose. It was clean and roomy.
I broke camp and had no issues pulling out even though it had been raining.

Al’s camp was great! Plenty of firewood and the pit toilet was well-stocked with toilet paper, sanitizer, wipes, and a citronella candle. Not much light pollution so you can see plenty of stars on clear nights. Great hiking close by, including a few trails on the property. As other reviews have stated, there is some road noise from NY 14 nearby but otherwise quiet and very peaceful. Definitely recommend!

A nice secluded space with picnic table, fire pit, drop toilet and dry, split firewood supplied. No houses or other spots nearby. Close to keuka outlet trail and Seneca lake as well as local wineries, spotted duck etc. Only downside is proximity to NY 14 with loud traffic.

I had a great stay here! Very secluded spot with a couple camp sites to choose from, plus some little trails through the woods. Free firewood, well-maintained outhouse, firepit, and picnic bench. The only downside is that cars can be heard easily from the road nearby. It was much quieter at night though. Al was very kind and helpful!

Al’s campsite was absolutely wonderful! It was really easy to find, clearly labeled, and the site was set out great - there were only two of us but there would definitely be enough space if you came with a group of 8 or 10.
The trails behind the camp were well maintained and very beautiful, and I highly recommend visiting at the end of June/beginning of July because the woods were flush with black raspberries! We were able to pick a quart’s worth in under 30 minutes.
There was plenty of firewood which was very dry, as well as newspapers for kindling, and a fire pit with grills for over top, so making fire was a breeze. The portable toilet was kept very clean, and stocked with toilet paper and a citronella candle.
If you’re looking for food nearby, Spotted Duck Creamery is just a mile up the road and had decadent ice cream and a cute little farm attached. This would also be a great place to stay if you’re interested in wine tasting, as it’s right off of the Seneca wine trail, and we drove by at least a dozen wineries and vineyards on our way to and from.
10/10, would definitely want to come back. Make sure to check out the fireflies at night - we saw dozens!!

Upon arriving at the campground, we were pleasantly surprised with the number of extra amenities in addition to the regular campsite, there was a picnic table, 2 well built benches, plenty of water for hand/dish washing, and a square fire pit suitable for cooking on, grates and wire rack provided. Also, there was plenty of split firewood available for free!
There was also an out house available, as outlined in the campsite description, however, we were very pleased to find that it was also readily stocked with plenty of toilet paper, purell, disinfectant wipes and a citronella candle for light; there were also three windows available for additional light during the day and extra ventilation.
As well as providing a beautiful camping location, Al also allows you to roam freely throughout his sizable property equipped with beautiful hiking trails, a creek running through the property as well as additional camping locations (much more primitive, without all of the aforementioned accouterments - and with less level ground, yet still beautiful).
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this camping location, The only drawback is that the campsite, with all available amenities, is quite close to the road allowing all of the passing vehicles, including cars, bikes and horse and buggy, to be easily heard.
Overall, we would rate this camp site with five stars and would highly recommend.

Al’s Camp is a nice peaceful spot. It is well maintained and the host is very welcoming in all communications.
The road that the camp is on is a great spot for a stroll and lake view.

The only feedback/suggestion I would give is to clearly mark the trails or provide at least a basic map of the property!

Exactly as described, a private wooded camping spot. We arrived after dark and got bombarded with biting insects. Aside from that, we were able to see stars through the clearing in the tree canopy and hear amazing crickets.
The initial site is sloped; we were car camping so needed to park in a way to try to be as level as possible. Tent campers have another option to walk deeper into the woods at a nice grassy clearing.
The outhouse is nice. And the road outside the site is a quiet country road (with occasional fast cars driving on it) & lovely to walk on.

Al’s campsite was great! Super private and really close to many things. We did some hiking on the trails near the campsite on the property and then went to a trail about a mile away. We also hit up Climbing Binet brewery for a flight, some live music and a beautiful view of the lake!

Great spot, and easily accessible. We set up tents a in the back area down the trail, instead of the main site that is right off the road (not much traffic or noise overall on a Saturday/Sunday). Close to the lake, and trails nearby. Al was easy to communicate with and accommodating. Thank you!
