Yerrinbool is 1 hour from Sydney and a great spot to spend a weekend away, 15 mins from Bowral and 10 mins to Mittagong There are animals on the farm including ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and sometimes even baby cows. The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet. Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know. We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. They have allocated spots and we do not need them moved. We also have a toilet in a small cabin close to the house for people who are using tents and water if you're required to fill your tanks or rinse off. We have two dams with yabbies you are welcome to collect. If you do collect some please be respectful in the amounts you collect and also throw some raw meat and or frozen veggies like peas and corn into the dam to provide food for the others to grow. Firewood is available to purchase at time of booking - see Extras.

Wouldn’t recommend

It said toilet were available but when we arrived the toilets were tape off so the girls we were with had to drive to use the bathroom which was quite disappointing and the venue is made to look a lot more appealing in photos compared to what it was like in person Also be aware that it right near a highway and you can hear that all night

A quick one night stay

Really good, Michael and Andrew were good host. We came late at night and Michael showed us the right way. We didn’t notice the sound from the motorway so that didn’t bother us either. So cozy with the animals in the morning too, highly recommend!

The camp sites are well spaced out and Andrew was quick to provide the firewood that we’d ordered. The grass was suitably short. The stars were beautiful. I’d recommend that you bring your own toilet if you have young children.

Overall, the campsite was okay to stay in even though it was close to the motorway so it was a bit noisy and could not sleep at night properly. There was also no toilets or bins around the campsite and would have to go to the front near the hosts’ house. There was only one toilet that had no electricity that all of the people camping use which was a bit tricky to go at night as we have to either wait in line, drive or walk from our campsite to go to the bathroom. In our site, there was completely no running water or bin as I said before which was also a bit tricky as we had to get water from the bathroom and take it back to the campsite. For improvements, I would suggest to have running water around the site, toilets and bins for people to use and not just one. I also think this campsite would be a hit if there was activities that the kids could go to such as opening the barn for kids to pet the animals.
