Come and enjoy this creek front campsite in the heart of the Tweed Shire. Nestled on the banks of Doon Doon Creek, clear constantly running water with a large swimming hole awaits you!. The property is a 300 acre working farm with horses, cattle and a friendly dog named Wal. Campers are welcome to explore the many walking tracks on the property as well as the bordering national park. Just a 800 metres from Clarrie Hall Dam, spend your days picnicking and paddling amongst the stunning scenery. The dam is stocked with Australian Bass for a fun day's fishing. Take a 5 minute drive to Uki a township where you will find an abundance of arts and crafts, weekend markets and a host of alternative/natural therapy practitioners. You'll reach the larger town of Murwillumbah in just 15 minutes and the famous Byron Bay in under an hour. Explore the nearby Northern Rivers Rail Trail - 24km of trail through working farms, lush rainforest, wide bridges and original train tunnels. PLEASE NOTE: there are public toilets at the village of UKI about 2km.

Riverside Gypsy Wagon

Beautiful spot to kick back and relax. Bob was an amazing host with firewood at the ready! The wagon was beautiful, clean and warm. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful time. The views alone made it worth every second and to wake up to the sound of the running creek was the icing on the cake! Thank you for sharing this space!

We loved camping at Bob’s place! Beautiful spot-everything you need to keep the family satisfied. Power, water, swimming, hiking, beautiful sunsets. Comfy bed and plenty of tent space.

Great spot to spend a few days chilling out and doing very little. Very picturesque spot and Bob is more than willing to accommodate any request.

We loved the gypsy wagon! Amazing to be able to just bring your clothes/ food instead of the full camp set up. Gorgeous location on the creek. We will be back for sure.

Perfect self-contained getaway!

I'll mirror everything said in the previous reviews. Gorgeous spot. Good fishing. Water in the creek is warm and clear. Awesome view of Mt Warning and Bob is an absolute legend. Probably the best hipcamp spot I've ever been to. We'll definitely be back!
