Family-friendly
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
Relax or get involved at The Peachy; an iconic, eco friendly, off-grid animal rescue farm... privately owned and publicly loved! We feed the farm animals and collect the eggs every morning at 8am so set your alarm and join in the fun. Gypsy, your onsite hostess with the mostest, will take you on a fun-filled journey where everyone learns something! The dam is back in action after the drought and then an invasive weed taking over. There are kayaks here and they are free for everyone to enjoy. There is a nature playground for the kids, an outdoor bathtub (book with us after you have booked your site $45 or book as a 'camp site'), wood-fired pizza oven (book in the 'extras') and a well equiped community kitchen. The Peach Farm is centrally located within a 20 minute drive to close by attractions. Adventure; 4 wheel drive at Shark Bay. Swim; Iluka's famous beaches. Walk; Iluka Heritage Rainforest, from the lush rainforest to the amazing views at The Bluff. Explore; Yamba, Angourie, the Scottish town of Maclean. Our eccentric affectionate mix of farm animals will win you over in seconds especially if you grab some feed from your hosts. All of our loving animals have been rescued as a tiny baby or taken in when their owners could no longer care for them. Each site has a picnic table and a fire-pit and you can book a camp oven package if you would like to engage in some outdoor cooking. It's fun, relaxing and nothing beats a camp oven stew! Our community kitchen is a hub for get togethers and yarns, well equipped with a gas cooktop, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, a BBQ, fridge/freezer, and plenty of tables. There are fresh herbs and eggs when in plentiful supply. Please use the worm bin for all your kitchen scraps. We have an amazing composting loo but no showers yet. We are pet friendly however we do ask that you have your best friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES and please do not get too close to the alpacas, they are protectors and will become uneasy and distressed. We strongly believe in 'leaving no trace' so please be mindful of our animals, other happy campers and 'take only memories leave only footprints'. “The peach from can only be accessed heading north on the highway. If coming from the North take the Iluka exit and then just loop back to head north - 1.5km turn off is on the left straight off the Highway!"

Baby Don't Herd Me
Such a nice place. Beautiful property, nice and close to Maclean and Yamba. The kids loved feeding the animals, and all the little touches are really nice. There is road noise from the M1.

Peach Power
Peach power
Peach power was a beautiful stop for us, we had wanted to come here since it opened and hasn't disappointed! We stayed in the powered site which is right next to the kitchen area and in the orchid. The whole family is kept happy here - kids have the farm animals , highland cow. Goats, chickens, donkeys, &rabbits and at Night enjoy a romantic bath in the wood fired heater surrounded by banana palms, Gypsy the host added magnesium salt's . Simply devine 10/10 hipcamp

Papa Don't Peach - Site 1
We absolutely loved this place. We wished we booked more than 3 nights. Once the kids eyes opened it was go, go, go. Boys had hours of fun in the dam and my girl cuddled the animals all day long. We all picked nuts, feed and cuddled the animals, bathed in the dam, toasted marshmallows and star gazed. The full camping experience. Every animal had a story and Gypsy was so passionate about telling every single one of them. The animals are so loved and happy and it really shows ❤️ We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.
