Quiet retreat
A very quiet spot on the banks of a quiet, little fresh water creek. Brodie was very welcoming and helpful and all the locals in nearby Uki are too. The sites are flat and easy to get to away from the crowds.

We had the best weekend at Rowlands Creek Camp swimming in the creek with our dog and relaxing. Lovely owners, friendly horses, very peaceful and spacious camp sites.

Rowlands Creek Camp Area
We recently stayed here on the shady bottom creek site with our two little boys and had a great time.
The property is well maintained with large campsites spread out to leave you with a sense of privacy from other campers. Sites have fire pits and if you’re lucky you could have one of the two sites with a heated bathtub. It also has the cleanest portaloo you’ve ever seen. There is firewood available at the property for a small price which is really convenient. There are resident horses that are beautifully natured- a lovely brown horse came to greet us after we had set up camp.
Shortly after arrival Brodie and his family gave us some hints and tips about our stay with them and what the beautiful area has in store for us. You’re just a short 10 mins drive from Uki- we had an amazing coffee at the post office and grabbed some extra supplies from the grocery store.
Stay at camp and lush out by the creek or head out and explore surrounding creeks, causeways, falls and walking tracks.
Ps. Take your insect repellent and citronella- because with all the beauty of the creek and some rain comes some bitey mosquitoes (to be expected).

What a glorious spot! Brodie has a piece of paradise and we are so pleased that she is sharing it. My husband and two grandsons had a wonderful 3 nights on the property and hope to visit again.

Great campsite, we really enjoyed the creek and fire bath. It was handy having decent firewood for sale. Lots of flat and shady space to set up. The toilet was nice and clean.

How’s the serenity 😁👍
Four out of five as voted by us all. They only thing that would have made it perfect is if the water level was higher.. something that can’t be helped. Absolutely stunning part of the world.. still close and reminders of civilisation but far enough away to enjoy the serenity.

Great spot and lovely host
Fantastic place! Brodie was so accommodating - I was trying to book for 4 nights, and the middle night was sold out. After messaging Brodie, it was no problem - he just ‘slashed another site’!
The toilet was clean and fresh - the swimming hole was very refreshing - and we loved the resident horse - very friendly. Only 5 mins from Uki (great coffee at the old post office) and a great swimming hole on Palmers Rd just south of town on the Kyogle Rd. Another great swimming spot is Hanging Rock falls - halfway between Uki and Kyogle. A wonderful part of the state and the perfect campsite to explore it from - thank you so much Brodie!

Wonderful for all the family 🐴 ❤️
We absolutely loved our stay. Brodie and family were lovely, the grounds were gorgeous and perfect for our family. They were extremely fast to help us out when needed too. We parked at a spot right be the creek, the boys could fish which we watched (they even caught a fish too)! We went for a swim which was lovely.
If you have a horse loving family member they will adore this. They are super friendly will let you pat them. We even woke to a beautiful girl at our site each morning.

We'll be back.
Lovely and quiet. We had the spot on the right down by the creek. It was really hot the day we arrived but cooled off in the creek - perfect. Grass was mowed. A real pleasure to stay there. We got to pat the horses as well!. There were six other camps but we hardly knew they were there. Highly recommend Brodie's place if your in the area. Might even visit Mount Warning next time!

Nice quiet place to stay
We enjoyed the quiet area, green and nicely kept. Good amount of space between camp sites. Clear directions to get to the site, some pot holes along the road so I don’t recommend any lowered cars go out there- a regular, non lowered car would be fine, though. Firewood was $15/bag but it lasted us the night. The toilet was clean and had lots of toilet paper. The night we went was overcast but you can tell the stars would have been amazing out there. Overall we would go back again. We would just bring the Land Cruiser next time!

Dog friendly camping
We caravaned at Brodie's land next to the river. There is plenty of shade or open area's if you prefer. There are swimming holes to make use of in the warmer months or just sit and enjoy the tranquility. It's a lovely location, not far from Uki, Murwillumbah, or Mullumbimby and the north coast beaches are not too far away either.
I would definitely recommend this camp. Plus it's dog friendly which is most important.

We stayed 5 nights. Big grassy areas to spread out next to the running creek.
Swimming hole at the causeway was only a short walk.

Such a beautiful spot, peaceful and quiet with a generous campsite area. Very private and spacious. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to visit again! Matilda the horse was super friendly too, such a treat for the kids being able to give her a pat each day.

We loved camping at Rowland Creek! It was amazing, the serenity & space is very relaxing. It isn't crowded at all and the space is so clean on a beautiful creekside. Brodie is a great host & it was a great stay, highly recommend!

What a nice little spot! We stayed over new years and although it was fully booked there was still plenty of room to feel like you had the space to yourself. Brodie was a great host - easy to get along with and very helpful. Most people did the right thing with their pets on lead and there was just one group of young campers who were a bit too carefree BUT being new years it was probably more bound to happen and of course out of the control of the host. We will definitely return for another weekend when it’s a bit quieter but if you can snag a spot along the creek you’re laughing!!

We had a great time, Brodie was an awesome host, kept on top of everything. Would definitely recommend it to people wanting to get away and enjoy nature, just please don't be one of those kind of people that take advantage of Brodie's trusting nature and steal the firewood, please pay for it or you won't have the convenience of firewood anymore
