We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Paddocks!
Barb was a lovely host and there was plenty of space for all hipcampers on site!
Beautiful bush outlook no matter which way you face, it truly is a peaceful property! Very quiet and lovely to wake up to the cattle and horses nearby!

Clear instructions, easy access and leveled area to camp. There were about five other campers there but enough space to have some privacy. Only downside was the horse droppings around (the horse is free to roam in the paddock) so just be wary of where you are stepping, particularly in the dark. Overall an easy booking and suitable for what we needed, which was just a one night stay on our travels.

We had a great stop over at Barb’s place. Great access to the highway. Friendly arrival, we
found a nice flat spot for our tent and kids loved exploring the bush land.

Peaceful and fantastic location
Had a great stay at this campsite. Very peaceful and location is just fantastic and easy to get to. Horses strolling around and we woke up to birds singing. I've camped everywhere but never have I heard birds sing so beautifully. Barb is one of those people whom you instantly like. She welcomed us on the property, even though we rocked up late. Pity we could not stay longer as we were in a rush to get to our next destination.

Fantastic communication with Barb leading up to our stay. She informed us that we couldn’t go down into the paddock because it was boggy due to the rain prior to our stay but we still decided to stay because of the location. We set up near her house overlooking the horse paddock with the horses coming up for pats. It was quiet and peaceful during our two night stay. Telstra reception for our mobiles not great (1 bar) but worked on and off. Not too far away from beaches, lovely drive through the towns.

Pleasant bird surprise!
The name says it all, Peaceful Paddocks yes it was. A nice surprise was all of the varied bird life - Yellow tailed Black Cockatoos; Willie Wagtails; Galahs; Rainbows; Roselas; Noisy Friarbirds; Olive backed Oriole; Magies; Magpie Larks and Crested Pidgeons. There were also plenty more that we heard but couldn't sight them. Easy access and great directions. Loved it.

Peace, space, birdlife
Barb's land is a beautifully peaceful bushy area with good flat places either under the shade of trees or in the full sun. The birdlife creates a relaxing atmosphere. There is plenty of space between campers. Barb provided excellent communication for booking. I definitely recommend this site to those who like a natural setting and especially to avoid the crowded tent cities at nearby caravan parks in peak periods.
