Lyrebirds Nest
Stayed one night passing through at Lyrebirds nest. The most peaceful outlook over a gully and tall trees from the cabin. Hosts Ash and Ellie were very welcoming, and great communication. Opted for a coffee which was brought down in the morning and the perfect way to start my day of travel! Hope to stay longer next time!

I had a wonderful stay! The property is very beautiful and the cabin is very cute and larger than I thought. A small kitchen and dining table were being installed after I left which will make the space even better. Ash gave me a tour of the property and was generally very welcoming and hospitable. I am already planning my return!

Lyrebirds Nest
Driving down the beautiful tree lined, gravel road to the entrance, we already knew it would be something special. Hosts were very welcoming and communicative, and took their time to show us what their property had to offer. From feeding the miniature sheep to a gentle stroll across the paddock to the sauna outlooking the pines and lake, it was magical. The cabin itself was cosy and while it may need a little more work (they've only started their Hipcamp journey), it's still the perfect getaway for singles, couples and families alike. We can't wait to return to see all the hard work the hosts have put into their little corner of the world.

Lyrebirds Nest
We recently had a great stay in this well-equipped cottage nestled in the bush. The setting was perfect for watching birds and wildlife, and the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for a brief getaway. The surrounding nature trails were a highlight, with stunning scenery and a variety of animals to spot. Our son particularly enjoyed visiting the farm animals and exploring the picturesque lake on the property. Communication with the host, Ash, was excellent. He was very responsive and helpful, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Overall, I highly recommend this glamping experience for anyone looking to escape to a peaceful and natural setting. We will definitely be back!

Recently stayed a few nights in this off grid log cabin. It was a very peaceful place, surrounded by trees and wildlife. Waking up to rain on the roof and black cockatoos was lovely. The cottage is quite basic, with composting toilet and tap for washing up/drinking water and a cold shower near the sauna. We brought our own gas stove and it was perfect to prepare a few meals. The sauna is incredible, make sure you try it! Would like to come again as the owner is working hard to make it an awesome place.

We loved our stay at Lyrebirds Nest—the campsite, cottage and sauna by the pond were all wonderful. Everything is beautifully maintained. Our hosts were very friendly and accomodating, and even took us to feed the baby goats & sheep. Thank you!

A very cool couple of days spent immersed in the bush, in a genuine log cabin! Hours spent on the balcony soaking in nature, listening to the bird life, making friends with a giant wombat but most importantly, making family memories. Awesome and very friendly hosts over messaging too which always makes the trip nice! Take the repellant, this is a fairly open log cabin immersed in nature with doors wide open during the day to let the air flow through and mossies at night but that’s what camping is all about! This is log cabin glamping at its finest! (With a toilet!!!)

Beautiful little cottage, the fresh eggs were lovely and the bed was super super comfy! Was hard for us to find at night time but the owners came out to help us find it :) you have to pay extra for the wood and eggs, would be nice if the wood was free but other than that it was such a nice stay. We really relaxed, can’t wait for more to get added, we would love to come again. Listening to the birds in the morning was beautiful, thanks guys!

We came with our family, it was really lovely and peaceful. The views of the trees and valley in the mist were beautiful. The lake and sauna were also great. Communication with the host was excellent. We plan to come back.
