'La Paloma' is a farm located 15 minutes from the township of Cowra and Wyangala Dam. La Paloma boasts spectacular views down the valley and of surrounding granite hills. We offer a 3 bedroom cottage, glamping tent and camping, powered and unpowered. Take a walk up the hill to take in the gorgeous scenery and watch the breath-taking sunrises and sunsets! Say hi to our resident sheep! We have two flocks of gorgeous sheep enjoying the delicious pastures. There is lots of native bird life to see here, with Superb Parrots, Blue Wrens, Cockatoos, Rosellas, Wedge Tail Eagles and of course, Doves (hence the property name, La Paloma). Wake up to see the mob of kangaroos bounding up the hill. Make sure to pop over to Wyangala Dam (14 min) for a fish or take part in some watersports. Or even head down the road to Elliotts Lookout over the Dam for some incredible views! We can even provide under cover boat storage if you want to bring your boat with you for some fun on the lake! In spring, enjoy the beautiful blossoming fruit trees. You can even visit Sakura Matsuri, the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival in Cowra late September! Year round, enjoy the tranquillity and landscapes of the Japanese Gardens and Cultural Centre in Cowra (14 min). The gardens act as a monument of peace and reconciliation between two countries after the largest Prisoner Of War breakout in modern military history. Cowra's rich history can be explored at the Cowra POW Campsite and various other historical sites around town. Make sure to end your night around a great campfire! We have a designated campfire area and complimentary firewood in a wood shed close by. Roast some marshmallows and take in the starry night sky. Property has a gorgeous brand new stand-alone bathroom building with 2 toilets, a hot water shower and sink. Please keep this clean and tidy. There are cleaning products under the sink as we cannot always be there to keep it clean. There is also an undercover table for use in the shearing shed but please BYO chairs. Please take all rubbish with you. Please make sure to follow COVID-19 guidelines by washing and sanitising hands especially when using shared areas. Pick a camp site in the middle aisle around the sheds, bathroom block and driveway OR in our top hill paddock (if gates are open) to take in the views. You are welcome to camp anywhere in the paddock - please note these sites are only accessible on foot, please do not drive into the paddock. No fires in the paddock please, there is a communal campfire spot available. We can accommodate RVs on the granite parking pads near the bathroom block. There is a power pole close by to plug in to. Note the ground off the driveway and parking pads can get very wet and boggy so to avoid getting bogged please try to stick to the driveway as much as possible.

La Paloma Farm - powered
Nice hosts. Quiet location.
We had a pleasant stay. The property is well maintained and cared for. The powered sites are very close together and it felt crowded upon arrival.. The amenities were well though out, stocked and clean albeit elevated which could be challenging for older visitors. Thank you for hosting us. Garry & Helen

Great stay at Steph and Jeremy's!
Steph and Jeremy's farm was an absolute pleasure to stay at. They were so lovely, knowledgeable and friendly, and made the trip that much better! They have many sheep, alpacas, horses and dogs which you can meet in their paddocks. The campsite is relatively flat, and easy to set up a tent on. The bathroom block has two toilets and a hot, waterfall-style shower with a fan. The block also has a kettle, and powerpoint for charging phones, as well as a tap for drinking water (on the side of the block). There's a fire 'dish' and firewood to light it, and the hosts were nice enough to give us fire starters, as well. During the night, the moon is quite bright (it was a full moon) and the animals can be loud, so that's something to consider if you're sensitive to sounds in the night. Despite all the sounds and the brightness of the moon, we slept better than we do in an apartment! The proximity to the other tents (existing canvas ones) is close enough to see, but we didn't feel disturbed or anything by other guests. It's still pretty private. Overall, it was a great stay, and Steph and Jeremy were great hosts. Be sure to ask them questions, they're super smart! :)

Maiden caravan voyage
It was my maiden caravan voyage. I'm a from a farm background and wanted a relaxed atmosphere in the country. Well this didn't disappoint. I was there on my own. The views were spectacular. I was able to test my little van out. The country bathroom was unique and beautifully presented. Quiet environment

Valley Views Glamping Tent
It was a great setting but we were unable to get the inside lights to work and we had a mouse eat the corner of the chocolate through the night.
