We are 5 acres in the Moreno Valley, nestled on the Enchanted Circle, between Angel Fire and Eagle Nest. Located 1 mile off the hwy for a very quiet setting. The property has fantastic views of Wheeler Peak (the tallest mountain in NM, 13,167 ft.) and Eagle Nest Lake. We are 5 miles from Angel Fire Resort, awarded one of the best mountain bike parks in the country, golf, and hiking are just a few of the many activities they offer. 2 miles North is Eagle Nest Lake where you can enjoy great fishing/boating. Taos is a 40 min. drive away and Red River is a 25 min. drive.

Site 3 - Camping with amazing views
Amazing views
We absolutely loved camping in this ranch! The included picnic tables, campfire ring and extremely clean porta-potty were so appreciated. It did get chilly at night in September, so remember your warm clothing gear! The sites were smaller, if you’re looking for a bigger site, site 3 is the biggest! All around a great experience.

Centrally Located Retreat
We brought our 26’ travel trailer and stayed in Site #5. The centrally collated water spigot had a hose attached which made it easy to drown campfires and fill up our fresh water tanks. This location is peacefully located away from the main highway and offers an excellent alternative to crowded campgrounds. We dumped at a campground in Eagle Nest for $16 before heading home. The Lowe’s grocery in Angel Fire had locally raised meats including bison and elk. Red River was a short drive away and offered lots of restaurant options. I’m glad we drove from i25 through Cimarron. We drive to Taos on a day trip and the road is very narrow as it winds through the canyon. We will be back!

The milky way and shooting stars
The perfect spot for star gazing. The milky way is magnificent, so close you could reach out and grab it. Shooting stars went whizzing by as we sat by the fire pit. We will be back.

Rooftenting at Wheeler View
My boyfriend and I were very pleased with Scott’s Wheeler View campsite. Lovely views over Eagle Nest area and of course Wheeler Peak. Scott was very friendly and had a great campfire going for the campers. The site was well marked and offered a nice picnic table. The out house was clean and in good order. We would stay again.

There will be a repeat visit!
Again I find myself struggling giving this a 5 star review……why? Because I’m an only child and I’m selfish and want it all to myself! The most beautiful scenic campsite you’ll ever lay your eyes on, insanely well-maintained! Scott shared with us that 4 hours a week he’s hearding prairie dogs to a new Location so that his guests will be comfortable. There are 13 sites currently on this location, I think that would Be a little bit tight with strangers, however if you have Friends that you would like to camp with or family it would be a fantastic venue. I highly recommend this location, I encourage you to patronize this host, he’s working very hard for your comfort. He’s also willing to work with you in organizing group events. As I said in the beginning I cannot give this a five star, I must give it a 10. This is only five hours from our home, we will be returning as often as we can. Written by the wife😘

Site 13 - Camping with amazing views
Great spot for some no frills camping (flat surface, picnic table, clean porta potty, away from the road, not crowded, friendly and accommodating hosts, pet friendly) with beautiful views and a short drive to trails and nearby towns. We spent the day hiking near Taos and found wild strawberries and mushrooms along the trail. Overall, a pretty magical place to spend the weekend.
