Site 3 - The Golden Rose Ranch
Boon-Docking
The view from the site was beautiful, but the facilities were nonexistent. The information presented on the listing was not clear. Basically, we were boon-docking. The “road” to site 3 was not well traveled. We had rain all night and we were lucky we made it out the next morning. The path had huge puddles and we got stuck twice. Fortunately, my husband is a skilled driver and our trailer is very lightweight.

Beautiful landscape with easy access to I-40. Campsites were clean and quiet and Jessica helped us find a good spot. Thanks guys!

Simple Solitude
I could feel the sacredness of this indigenous land and the ancestors that dwelled here. There’s nothing at the site but a fire pit..which adds to the raw feeling. There was also nobody else on the ranch. Simple solitude..if that’s what you’re looking for.

Absolutely beautiful property very scenic and private campsites! Very grateful for the late check-in after a long day of driving on the 40. This is the best place for us to stop and wake up. Wish I stayed longer to explore! Greatful for the greeters help navigating in the dark! Thank you guys!!!

What an amazing, beautiful, quiet, place to unwind and regroup. The hosts were incredible and accommodating especially with me being a last minute booking. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing views. We were on Site 1
We did not see anyone. Only complaint we could not fill our water. Harry was not there and had another person great us, when we left in the morning could not see how to fill water and she had left not responding to my question.. Overall a beautiful location!
