Great location!
Great location! Hiking trails nearby and easy access to Albequerque. Liam was very helpful in getting me parked, and set up. He also gave recommendations for hiking and shopping. Overall, great experience. 😊

Friendly hosts. Excellent location. 15 minutes to gas, groceries, restaurants. Secluded neighborhood. Wild horses! We loved our time with Liam and Marti!

Backed Up Against the mountains
I stayed here with my dog for 2 nights. Wonderful quiet location. You can tell the hosts have a lot of passion for this and felt welcomed as soon as I pulled in.
The location is safe and gives you a wonderful view of the Sandias.
Every evening and morning the horses would come down to feed which was such a treat.

Worth Another Stay!
Gorgeous Arizona sunsets, wild horses coming up to greet you, a beautiful porch complete with wi-fi, and gracious hosts in Liam & Marti all combine to make this a wonderful desert retreat. While the site is not quite set up for tenting, Liam made accommodations in the on-site campers for me. I now have camper envy! I liked this place so much, I stayed here twice.

Liam and Marti were very welcoming, generous, easy-going and responsable host. They made sure through our stay that we had everything we needed. They enjoy hosting people so we had a good time talking with them. The sight of the Sandias is very beautifull from the camping spot. It was very spectacular for us and very différent from the landscape We are used to (We are from montréal, Canada). Thanks again!

Unique neighbourhood, friendly host
This was a unique property in a unique neighborhood. Host was very friendly and great communication. The site was relatively level and we had access to wifi and water. Would recommend, if you're needing a place to stay in the area.

Stayed here at the start of a cross-country roadtrip. Very friendly. Liam greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. Relaxed, low-key and beautiful. Great location. Easy access. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

The place was beautiful and I’m very thankful for the host allowing me to stay there. They seemed very busy - Liam helped me level my van and filled up my water jugs. The wild mustangs were absolutely beautiful and so cool!
It wasn’t as private as I’d hoped and I’m thankful the neighbors didn’t mind me looking over their home!
Absolutely beautiful and wild horses were really neat to experience.

Peaceful setting close to town
What a beautiful location and such gracious hosts! Placitas is close to city amenities yet secluded in the mountains and away from lights and noise. Liam greeted us when we arrived and helped us back our Airstream in, level, and hook up to power. It is a perfect location to explore Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Many nearby trails and only a short drive to wildlife viewing along the Rio Grande river (Rio Rancho Bosque Open Space).
And we saw wild horses!

Liam’s land was great! We were just supposed to car camp, but they let us use their RV because no one had rented it out! It made our night. They were extremely kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend.

Liam and Marti (and their dog Ozzy) were great hosts and we very much enjoyed our stay, which included lots of wild horses stopping by and beautiful views. Liam had great recommendations for things to do and see. The spot itself is gravel, and Liam has built a convenient wood plank that gets your trailer level right to left. Would recommend!

Great Location
Liam & Marty are great hosts and the view of the Sandia Mountains is a bonus. The location is near enough to Albuquerque to serve as a base and feels remote at the same time. Seeing and hearing the local wild mustangs was a new experience for us. We stayed here on our way to a Colorado location, so the quick access to I25 helped us get a good start on the next leg of our journey.

The driveway was a bit narrow and windy for our 30 trailer and long bed extended cab truck, but we made it. Liam was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area, his input made our stay much more enjoyable.

Great little spot!
Liam and Marti are such welcoming and open hearted people. We enjoyed our visit and felt at home. It was a quick trip so we missed the horses this visit, but really enjoyed hearing the coyotes and wildlife in the evenings, and viewing the star-filled night sky. This location is nice for its proximity to both ABQ and Santa Fe. Thanks!

Though we only stayed one night, Liam was so helpful and a great host. He helped us guide our RV into the parking spot and even offered us use of his propane fire pit. He helped us hook in to electric and we settled in for a peaceful night! His dogs are adorable and our pup got along very well with them! Highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for some peace and quite...and cute dogs.

An absolutely beautiful property! The camp host was extremely friendly and greeted us upon arrival, and we were so happy with the location. Even with the risk of a storm rolling in, the host was very accommodating and we were glad to be able to stay. This was the perfect stop along our road trip.

Would recommend, very friendly and helpful host. The trailer to stay in was much more comfortable than the tent I was in before. This is the halfway point between Dallas Texas and Salt Lake City, so the location is perfect for traveling between the two.
