This is a non-smoking, no candle facility. The camp was founded 40 years ago as a summer camp for kids. Now we welcome adults, and other groups to enjoy the vast and wild high desert nature up on this ridge. There are beautiful views and access to Shaggy Peak, the southernmost tip of the Rocky Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Wander our land to enjoy various level hiking trails including a 20 minute hike to a creek and waterfall in the forest (some steep spots and creek is intermittent) or climb up Shaggy Peak (seasoned hikers only please). NOTE: We are up 1.3 miles of dirt road (with 5-7+% grade in a few short stretches) and are not near public transportation so you will need your own vehicle! Be aware that the roads can be snowy, icy or muddy and rutted ( 4-wheel or All-trak recommended in certain times of year). We don’t guarantee the road will be plowed.

Sunrise Treehouse
What a find!
What a gem! My daughter and I stayed in the Sunrise Treehouse and the place was so much more than I expected ..right down to piles of soft blankets for us and fairy lights! Will definitely stay again. Ciana was so helpful and friendly!

Treehouse Camp:Tent, Van Truck camp
We absolutely loved our stay at Santa Fe Treehouse! The hosts are warm and welcoming. We had everything we needed in a peaceful, natural setting. We especially liked having a refrigerator and a kitchen to use. The communal dining area is a fun place to connect with other campers. It was a short drive (less than 30 minutes) into Santa Fe. We highly recommend a stay here!

Treehouse Camp:Tent, Van Truck camp
We had a great time at the Tree House Camp. I came out for a weekend trip with my friends and their kids. Everything was wonderful; we enjoyed the beautiful camp with its convenient amenities, the nearby tent sites (which I used), the nice treehouses (which others in my group rented), the hiking, the horseshoes, and relaxing time with friends.

Treehouse Camp:Tent, Van Truck camp
A well kept secret!
Love the camp. Love the quiet. It is a nice mix of group camping facilities and widely spaced individual sites in the trees and therefore shaded (hard to find in the high desert). And, being in the mountains above Santa Fe the summer temperatures are mild. Hosts Ceana and Brad are friendly, kind, and very helpful.

Tecolote 1 Treehouse
Hummingbirds and yoga
Ciana and Brad were the ideal hosts. Very friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring the land was clean and safe. They shared different trails we could use on the massive property. It has everything you needed! We stayed in the treehouse and it kept the rain out during a torrential downpour, even though it was rustic. The fire pit was lovely and we met many friendly fellow campers. The views were great and the lovely hummingbirds everywhere added to the ambiance. We hiked to the valley and it was gorgeous and well marked. The highlight was the peaceful yin yoga class led by Mishu.

Mustang Bunkhouse
A Bunkhouse for the Weekend.
I kind of don’t want to leave review and make this place known more publicly for fear that it is over run with people, but I cannot lie in saying that we all had a fantastic time. The amenities were great! The hosts were great! The ambiance was great! I do plan on returning as soon as I can get away from work again. Wonderfully relaxing from start to finish.
