The Cerro Pedernál is a glamp-style tent specifically situated for you to wake up with a view of Cerro Pedernál on mornings when the night was warm enough to keep the main entry open (see through the screens.) This 20’ x 16’ Destination Tent has screens all around, 8’ x 16’ extended covered porch, a queen sized Tempurpedic memory foam bed, bed side tables, 2 recliners, wood stove, composting toilette, wash-up table with basin/pitcher, microwave, fridge, camp stove, water cooler w/hot water spigot, and eat-in kitchen table. Comfortable in all 4 seasons, including winter storms! Limited solar power. Supplemental LP space heater. Authentically upgraded camping, but it is still a tent…

Great place, the views are stunning! You think you are on your own in the wilderness. Scott is super nice and flexible . Responds quickly to messages . I would highly recommend! Thanks for having us!

Amazing location. You really can’t beat the views at this campsite. And the host is so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. It’s rare to get a really good and peaceful nights sleep while primitive camping, but this location and property couldn’t have been better for it. It’s also 2wd accessible, even in heavy rain!

We were just passing through and just needed a place for overnight so we didn't have much in the way of expectations. The area was easy to navigate and absolutely gorgeous. We got to see the sun rise with a backdrop of absolutely beautiful mountains/hills. We arrived during the week and host was not on site at the time, however he did call and gave us the information we needed and like I mentioned the area was easily navigatable. Of note, the dirt is red and dusty and stands out more so than the brown dust so if that bothers you this probably isn't your place. I personally thought it was cool and would have loved to have spent time exploring. Overall would highly recommend

scott’s camp is a magical place. it was me and my partner’s last stop on our long road trip back west and from the get-go scott was incredibly communicative and friendly, and he provided us with the most peaceful and perfect experience. he even recommended us a lovely spot to swim on the hot day that we arrived. i can’t express enough how grateful i am for scott and this place and the space he has built.

It is a place with a spectacular view,you can see the sunrise the view of the mesas is beautiful,at night I not have words to describe the sky ❤️.Its a safe place and private.The experience with the owners was pleasant and very attentive.We would definitely return.
