We had a wonderful stay! Sandy and Rudy were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The property was peaceful, secure, well-kept, and exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The site at Sandy’s Hip Camp was absolutely amazing! The area is beautiful, very clean and secure. We were lucky to have found Sandy’s camp for the Ballon festival, the ballon’s flew directly over, we even had one land maybe 200 feet away.
We would love to visit again sometime! We are fully convinced that this is the best place to camp in the Albuquerque area. The sunrise view of the mountains is amazing!
To Sandy and her husband thanks again for allowing us to visit and explore the beautiful part of the country that you call home!

We’ve been traveling across the U.S. for the past five months, and Sandy’s place easily ranks as one of our favorite stays of the entire trip. It’s quiet, safe, and has all the amenities you could need. On top of that, Sandy and Rudy are genuinely kind people — they even let us use their patio and lawn area, which made our stay feel extra special.
We absolutely loved their home and the RV spot during the Balloon Fiesta and hope to come back someday. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I loved having my Rv on Sandy’s land I felt very safe. Her land is gated and very secure. I’m truly going to miss this place. The owners are the best. My time with a rv they helped me with everything. Sandy is the best hostess I’ve experienced. She checked on me throughout my stay. She made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. I’ve never been treated so well. They made feel like part of the family. Don’t miss out on this spot. It’s conviently located near most major stores. The area is quiet and beautiful. There close to parks and trails. This property gives you a great view of the hot air balloons that canvas the sky. I’m a travel nurse and I’ve been to many sites. By far I give this one 5 stars. Thank you Sandy and family for everything. You guys are the best. 💕

We had a great time! The host were great and very helpful. The location was close to all the local attractions. We were there for the Balloon Festival and you could see the balloons come up every morning. We would definitely recommend the stay.

Very spacious and easy access. We felt comfortable and very safe. Sandy and her husband were very nice host and Sandy answered my text promptly. So glad we found this beautiful place. We even got to see the hot air balloons flying over our campsite. Awesome place.

Cliff and Sandy greeted us right away and they were both so kind and accommodating. They live in a beautiful area, peaceful and quiet even though they live near a road. Their property is fenced in and gated so there is a feeling of security. Plus you have the place all to yourself. (aside from Cliff and Sandy, of course!) They recommended a wonderful restaurant not far from their place and we loved it. (Tap & Tacos)
We really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area!

This was a last minute find for us when our usual campground didn’t have space for us. We booked a 1 week stay and it truly exceeded our expectations. It is a short drive from RT 40 on excellent highways. The site is located in a gorgeous subdivision in which the owners have a well appointed property to accommodate rvs. There is a spacious turn around area, cement pad and full hook ups. The property is fully fenced and gated which lent itself to not only a great sense of security but allowed our traveling pitty girls a chance to run and play safely off leash for a few days. We travel this way often and will definitely visit this site again and again. Thank you Sandy!!

Sandy and Rudy were awesome hosts. They were very responsive to any questions we had. Rudy met us when we arrived and provided excellent references for local attractions and events. I would highly recommend staying here.

Sandy couldn’t have been more responsive every time i contacted her. She was helpful and friendly and with good restaurant recommendations. When we had settled in she showed up with a plate of tamales and bean cakes! She is an excellent cook also. She was just enough helpful and accommodating while not being intrusive.
Sandy’s RV spot is clean, mostly level, quiet and felt very safe. We appreciate the stay and would definitely use her place again.
