A beautiful location located within Cibola National Forest boundaries (Mt. Taylor Ranger District West). Direct access to Six Mile Canyon and Mc Gaffey Lake via improved forest road. We are seasoned camping travelers and enjoy meeting other travelers on their journeys. Learn more about this land: 18 miles East of Gallup, NM. Exit 39 on I-40, Jamestown, NM. GPS coordinates: N 35.46445  W 108.44220 Beautiful red rock views on the Continental Divide. An amazing vibe delivered by The Land Of Enchantment. Peaceful, yet still connected to the pulse of the old Route 66. This campsite is in a second RV driveway next to our home.18 miles East of Gallup, NM. Exit 39 on I-40, Jamestown, NM. Raven's Nest On Route 66
no communication
The day before I was to arrive the temps were to be in the teens. I tried twice to connect with owner but got no reply. I didn't have a 50 foot RV electric cord which she states I would need to connect to power so I canceled in lieu of finding a place where I could connect to power to keep warm. The next day I still have not heard from owner to maybe get a refund but understand that may not be possible but still to not have any communication is not cool.

Great for a quick stay off of I-40!
Easy and quick overnight with plenty of room and power to keep us warm! Didn’t hear from the hosts when we messaged, but everything worked out for us regardless.

Great area, not to far off the beaten path. But far enough to have no road noise. Beautiful sunset and red rocks. Easy to get to.
