If you are looking for true peace and tranquility come park your RV next to our private pond. We allow only one RV at a time to ensure you enjoy the beauty and serenity of Rancho Viejo. We are a well hidden jewel in the southwest corner of New Mexico. Our location is about 30 minutes north of Lordsburg ( I-10) just off Hwy 90. Driving north on Hwy 90 the terrain transforms from desert floor to rolling hills and oak trees. Shopping and sight-seeing can be had in the town of Silver City just a few minutes away. Quaint shops, restaurants, and nearly all the amenities of a larger city await you there. While you are here you can also access the Gila Cliff Dwellings or Catwalk near Glenwood. However we think you will be quite content sitting in one of our swings, or dangling your feet in the water, and watching for the wild waterfowl that frequent our pond. We also have a small gift shop filled with locally made southwest pottery, western art, fresh eggs and homemade baked goods. We'd be happy to give you a tour of our gardens and greenhouse where you can also purchase fresh vegetables for your next meal. Our overhead gate has a clearance of 13' 7". We allow all types of RV trailers and vehicles, living quarters horse trailers, vans, tents, tipis, etc. No age limit on vehicles or trailers. Our parking area is huge, and right next to our pond. Please note : We close during the winter months from November 1st to April 1st.The RV Site is the only site on the property. We offer 30 amp connection as well as a water connection from our well. You will be close to the pond, and will need to back into the spot. There will be a gazebo right next to your spot. There is plenty of room for you to manuever. We also offer a brand new porta-potty on the premises, located in the big red barn. On leash dogs are welcome! There is a boat available for rent. It's a 9ft dingy that seats up to 2 adults and 2 children. The pond is fishable and has catfish, bluegill and bass.

The RV Site is the only site on the property. We offer 30 amp connection as well as a water connection from our well. You will be close to the pond, and will need to back into the spot. There will be a gazebo right next to your spot. There is plenty of room for you to manuever. We also offer a brand new porta-potty on the premises, located in the big red barn. Had an amazing night at this hip camp. Bryon and Marilyn met us there they were so sweet and helpful. We really felt taken care of. It was super peaceful and private, beautiful star gazing spot! We also went into the nearby town of Silver City and had a great time the next day, I would definitely recommend doing that! Great food/art scene!

This spot is very private, almost like a little resort. The swings out over the pond were very fun! The hosts are very friendly and make you feel right at home! We would come back in a heart beat!

Comforting and beautiful pond place

Extremely friendly and helpful hoast's Bryan and Marilyn with an extraordinary beautiful place. It has a nice swimming pond, various sites for your tent, a portable toilet, handwashing tool and a very comforting and relaxing place. If we will be in the area again we will definetly stay here again.

This little oasis is worth the trip. My daughter is still bothering me to go back for a trip. Bryon and Marilyn were super helpful and hospitable. I am so happy with the location.

The owners were so friendly and caring! Hospitality was top level. The space was bigger than expected! The kids swam, fished and played on the swings. The surrounding towns had tons to offer too.

The best place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the peaceful views. The site is pristine and welcoming. The owners have made this a haven away from all the stresses. They are accommodating and kind. We enjoyed row boating in the pond and did a little fish watching. Don't pass this peaceful spot up when looking for your next camping adventure.

An oasis in every sense of the word

This place was amazing. It was truly the oasis we needed. Byron and Marilyn met us on site and gave us a tour. They are both so kind and down to earth. It was a pleasure every time we had a conversation with them. The property itself is meticulously cared for. There is shade, a fountain, a beautiful pond, and even swings over the pond. The view is breathtaking and there is so much privacy! We were lucky enough to be there on the night there was a lightning storm. It was an incredible sight! We will definitely stay here again because it truly felt like a home.

Bryon and Marilyn’s private oasis is the perfect location for an out door outing with the family. The campsite is spacious and private, The host's are kind and accommodating. The property is full of activities such as fishing, swimming, and most of all relaxing. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

As nice as it gets! The setting was wonderful, rural and next to a beautiful pond. Dark skies, full of stars, yet only minutes from Silver City. The setting is as quiet as can be as you are the only guest and no traffic nearby. The hosts are wonderful, engaging and meticulous about caring for their property. We will surely return, hopefully many times.
