Arrived late and Lawrence and Dina were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The site was well maintained and the bathroom was clean with warm water. Ground was easy to pitch a tent in and everything felt private and accessible. Would definitely recommend.

Lawrence & Dina couldn't be better hosts and have a perfect place to stay. Our site had a picnic table under a tree which was perfect for our morning coffee. We got in too late to see the sunset but loved the sunrise. Beware of choosing the "open directions in app" option. Twice it took us the wrong way. Third time was a charm (and verified using the address). If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stay there again.
Also, if you are heading east in the morning and you like old school yet quirky diners, you have to try The Pit on 292 Cafe just outside Los Cruces for breakfast. Great food and character. A fun way to start your journey.

Very nice little spot in a place otherwise absent of somewhere to stay. Climate was great even at the end of June. Very well kept, clean and hosts couldn't be more welcoming. Beautiful views. Would start again if we're in the area.

Second Time As Good As the First

My second time in as many weeks staying here. Can't put my finger on it, I'll just go with the New Mexico slogan "Land of Enchantment". It's so easy in and out. Lawrence and Dina are great hosts!
Still loved the sunset, myriad stars at night and awesome north to south first light and daybreak.
As I said in my last stay, if I was just in the vicinity, I would go out of my way to stay here.

Absolutely delightful spot. Away from the traffic, noise and congestion. Gorgeous sunset followed be a myriad of stars us city folk wish we could view every night. Get up early and watch first light, awesome.
Also loved the rustic homestead atmosphere.
Wonderful host, too! With a personal greeting and orientation. If you're going near this location, check it out.

Lawrence and Dina met us at the entrance to their property and were very welcoming. We stayed one night. There are 2 spots with electric and water hookup. It was quiet with limited road noise. It is a dirt lot so when the wind kicks up the dirt goes everywhere, something to keep in mind. We would stay again.

Had a great night of star gazing at Lawrence and Dina’s property. It’s easy to find, very quiet, and has a restroom! They are both extremely nice and accommodating, they even let me set up a telescope on the back 40. Fantastic hosts!

Lawrence & Dina are gracious hosts who offer a clean, well-maintained property. Easy to get to, but blissfully quiet once you arrive. A real bathroom with hot & cold running water was a special luxury.

Lawrence and Dina are amazing hosts with a lovely open property. We are both fans of Aviation and Jimmy Buffet, so had some great conversation!
Unfortunately It was a cold night so we couldn't use water in our camper, BUT they had a nice bathroom with running water and heat! yeah!! Plus they had electric for us so could keep our camper warm and cozy. There was a nice grill and picnic table, which would be great in the summer.
Lovely place to stay the night (or 2) if you're in the area. Recommended!

Lawrence and Dina were excellent hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a great visit. The site has a wonderful view of the mountains, and the sunsets were spectacular. We will definitely stay there again if we're traveling in southern New Mexico.

Beautiful open desert camp. Very serene and soooo quiet. I slept better here than any other camp so far this trip. The stars at night were amazing and it’s a quick trip to rockhound state park and Paloma Mexico. Lawrence was a great host. Very accommodating and informative about the area. Highly recommend!

The host was great. Clean and spacious campsites. Big rig friendly. Easy access to and from the highway. It was the perfect spot for us to overnight and catch up on some rest on our cross country trip.

Dina and Lawrence were wonderful hosts! The campsite has a beautiful view of the mountains and all of the amenities we could possibly need: water, electrical hookup, a fire pit, a barbecue pit with charcoal, plus a flushing toilet and a sink.
We got settled just in time to watch an amazing sunset over the mountains. It was a lovely experience. We would absolutely stay at One Particular Harbor again!

The hosts reached out to us early to let us know how to arrive. We followed their instructions & easily made it to the property. The ground we stayed on was pretty soft, it felt good but our tent stakes did tend to come out since it was a pretty windy day. We’d recommend bringing the heavy duty stakes. It’s a nice property with working water faucets & electrical plugins. It’s not too long of a drive into town for whatever you may need.

My father and I really enjoyed Lawrence & Dina’s land. We traveled from New York and their land was an incredible peaceful stay. The bathroom was well kept and clean. Lawrence & Dina are very communicative and kind. Definitely would come back again!

Great spot for a night or two. The hosts provided everything you could need - water, electricity, a small bathroom (no shower), even charcoal to use in their bbq. The site is a bit dusty, especially if it’s windy, so be prepared for that. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We stayed at Lawrence & Dina's One Particular Harbor for one night as we were traveling eastward through Demming. We arrived after dark. Their directions were accurate but we managed to drive past their property the first time – while backtracking we found Lawrence waiving us in with a flashlight (thank you!)
There property is set up well for both tent campers and RVs. We were in our car and pitched a tent in a lovely little grassy spot near some evergreens.
There is a plumbed bathroom on site that felt like a luxury to us two campers!
The morning was GORGEOUS. We had a wonderful breakfast sitting at a picnic table and looking at mountainous backdrop. We'd love to come back some day.

Perfect spot near rock hound state park. Lots of land to wander on and a very nice and accommodating host. Very clean toilet and a really well done fire pit which was perfect before bed. Felt very safe and secure. Bonus is horses by the parking area. It made for some great photos.
