Had a really great stay at campsite 7. The view was absolutely incredible! Check-in and check-out were seamless. Clean bathroom to boot!

Spur-of-the-moment solo camping
This was my second stay at the same site, and it was just as magical and fantastic as the first one! Diana's communication was clear and helpful. The amenities such as bathroom, kitchen shed and hot tub were all kept clean and in great shape. And last but not least, the area where the property is located is JUST so amazingly beautiful and peaceful, with fall colors still adding more charm. I look forward to another stay!

My significant other and I were passing through on our way back from a cross country road trip. We found this Hipcamp and it was incredible. We only stayed for one night but it provided us with everything we needed. The outdoor shower was beneficial for us, as we were hiking and camping for multiple days prior. We were able to clean up before heading home to Arizona. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunset and sunrise from our campsite. I appreciated all of the beautiful rocks and subtle trinkets placed around the property. My favorite part was viewing the abundance of the colors against the red rocks as the sun set. We ended the trip leaving some special rocks to add to the collection. ✨ Will be back and would recommend this Hipcamp to anyone needing an escape from the noise of life.

Magical spot! Had everything we needed - clean showers and bathrooms, communal kitchen - and then some! The area is stunningly beautiful and we followed the path down into the canyon for an amazing hike. It is so serene and peaceful - we would definitely stay again!

WOW the view!!!! I love the idea of being greeted and shown around, that was helpful. My site was very private with a short walk to the canyon edge. Even better, the view is the perfect site for a sunset. The directions were great, and the amenities were amazing. I loved that I had cell service, too.

This place was pure magic! We were greeted at that gate( locked and very safe) and given a quick tour of the property . The views are outstanding everywhere you look, literally everywhere! We had a site which allowed us to sleep in our conversion van. To simply say this place was clean is an understatement. Bathrooms were actually spotless. Everything about our stay was perfect! The kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials, showers were so, so beautiful, hot tub with a view and easy check in! From the campground was an incredible hike that took you down into the stunning views from the top. This stay was an experience!! My only regret was only staying 2 days! Definitely a reminder of why New Mexico is the land of enchantment- we left enchanted and longing for more! We can’t wait to come back!!!

Camping on Diana’s ranch was an incredible experience. Her love for the earth shines through around the property and all the facilities are really clean.
Stargazing late at night from the hot tub really has to be done.

this was the most BEAUTIFUL place to sleep under the stars! the drive up was truly breathtaking, as was the views from our campsite. the site was exactly as described, parked right beside where we set up camp. we were pleased to find a full kitchen in a hut; they had more cooking/kitchen supplies than i even have at home! the bathrooms were very spacious & clean, which included a toilet & sink. the outdoor shower was a little primitive but roomy & got the job done!
being greeted at the gate & personally shown to camp was a great feature. would 100% stay again— we even contemplated extending our trip just to stay another night here! wonderful, romantic spot :)

Very private, beautiful spot. Amenities are top notch with full kitchen, warm outdoor shower, clean bathrooms and a hot tub! Great eco retreat feel. It is out there, so be prepared to do lots of driving to get there if you are visiting Taos.

The pull through spot I stayed at was ideal and secluded… the bathrooms and shower are everything you’d want at a campsite!!! Plenty to see around the property and the hot tub made the evening even better!!! Highly recommend this property!!!

We tent camped 2 nights at Star Dance Camp. The location is beautiful. The open air showers had plenty of hot water, the bathrooms were very clean, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking, and the yoga yurt has yoga mats available for you to use, and appears to be accessible 24/7. Such great amenities to have when tent camping!
The campsites are rustic, and each have their positives and potential negatives. We stayed at site 6, which was further away from the beautiful views, but is the only one that you can drive right up to, so we didn’t have to haul our gear in. The other campsites you must walk in to, but they are more protected from the wind and particularly sites 7, 5, and 4 have a beautiful view of the canyon, you are literally on the edge of it. Due to the natural geology of the area, pounding tent stakes in can be difficult, some sites appear to have more surface rock than others. If you have any difficulties or questions, the staff on site are friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful stay, and I enthusiastically recommend Star Dance Camp. I hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

This was simply beautiful!!!! Worth going just to explore and see the sunset. I cried!! There were little hiccups (the water takes too long to heat up, so a shower did not happen unfortunately) But well worth going regardless. There is only one car camping spot, but they were kind enough to let me switch when i arrived with no tent. I think spot 6 is the car camping. AMAZING. I will go again for sure but probably rent a house!!! they were so cute

We loved our stay at Star Dance. The views were incredible and it was so peaceful there. It was a huge bonus having access to a kitchen and showering under the sky was a treat! We would definitely return.

Beautiful views, clean sites, and plenty of ground to explore! The provided kitchen was extremely useful, and it was nice having the option to shower. One of the most stunning sites I've ever been to, and I suggest to anyone passing by the area stop to see it for themselves :)

Star Dance is pure magic!!!! We stayed a total of 4 nights. We had originally intended 1 night. But it’s so peaceful and beautiful that we extended our stay! I hope to return one day! The stars do dance…the beauty sweeps you away…

We really enjoyed our two nights at campsite 7. The site had great views and was quiet. A short hike back to the parking space where the extremely convenient kitchen was located. Bathroom and shower facilities were nice too. Will definitely go back.

The land is remarkable and well cared for. Diana and Sean were kind and generous with the amenities provided. The stars were amazing and the landscape was beautiful. We will certainly be returning for a longer stay soon.
