Mountain View Campground
Lots of sites to choose from. The host even let us stay on the grassy hill to get out of the rain and dirt. Easy and hassle free stay!

Not Great for Trailer Camping
There are no signs for RV/Trailer camping. The instructions say to follow the signs for tent camping and call the host upon arrival. If he’s not able to answer, you are left to guess on where to go. Good luck if you take a trailer back to the tent area! Scratches on the trailer at best, getting stuck is more likely.

Install water to the camping area, even primitive camping areas have that at least. He has nothing but a flat area to park. Should be listed as tent camping only area.

Johnathan was the perfect host, available to provide help when asked. He supplied us with information about the area that went well beyond what was available online. mountain view campground is set with a view of the whole region. It felt like we were the only people around. In a crowded world we felt like we had all the space you could imagine. Our party stayed six nights. We could easily have spent six more. We are already making plans for our return trip.

This campsite was amazing. The sand really helps make the ground comfortable. Beautiful views of the mountain. Great firepit. Would love to visit again. Host was super nice and had great recommendations
