Deepen Your Stay As your host, I’m also a clinical herbalist and bodyworker rooted in ancestral plant medicine traditions. By prior arrangement, I offer private herbal and medicinal plant walks, energy work, and bodywork sessions — a chance to connect more deeply with this land and its wisdom during your visit. Reach out ahead of time if you’d like to schedule. A Few Requests in the Spirit of Reciprocity • Leave this space as you found it — tend it the way you’d tend your own hearth • We have a ceremonial tipi ground on site blessed by Taos Pueblo elders. Please do not camp on the tipi ground site, it’s strictly for ceremony use. • Please don’t cut directly on the butcher block, use a cutting board. • keep evenings quiet and easy, we have neighbors close by • The land is dry right now, so no open fires, please — fire safety matters deeply here • If you smoke, use the covered ashtrays and extinguish fully

Site 1 - Base Camp

RV/tent site · Sleeps 8 · Vehicles under 30 ft
Peaceful mountain campsite in the heart of Arroyo Seco Tucked into the best part of Arroyo Seco, this humble spot is just 1.5 miles (about 4 minutes) from the village and within easy walking or driving distance of many hiking trails—including one that starts right at the end of our road. Come land here for mountain views, quiet nights, and the simple serenity of the high desert. It’s an unpretentious place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. Optional kitchen access (extra fee): Upgrade for full use of the barn kitchen, which includes a refrigerator, Wi-Fi, electricity, two propane burners, a coffee maker, and plenty of outlets for charging phones and devices. Whether you’re here for a quiet night under the stars or a basecamp for exploring the trails, this is a peaceful place to land. We do have neighbors, and important to note this is a field with a slight slope and not completely flat.

Important Campground Rules You should have cell reception, we do! Fire Safety (Strictly Enforced) There is currently a strict no-fires law in Taos County. Due to imminent fire danger, absolutely no fires of any kind are allowed on the property. This includes campfires, charcoal, wood-burning stoves, or any open flame. Smoking If you must smoke, please use the provided ashtray only. Ash only in the ashtray — never on the ground. Always replace the lid when you are finished. Tipi Ground The tipi ground on site is for ceremonial use only and has been blessed by Taos Pueblo elders. Please do not park or camp on the tipi ground. Food & Trash Leaving food out will attract animals. Please store all food in your car, the refrigerator (if using the kitchen), or a black tote with something heavy on top. You must take all trash with you when you leave. Do not leave trash or food scraps behind. Kitchen Use (if you have paid for access) Do not leave food scraps out. Do not wash food scraps down the sink (it clogs easily). Please wash dishes at the outdoor spigot instead. Noise & Neighbors Please be mindful of our neighbors and keep volume down, especially after 10 PM. Cleanliness Leave your campsite area clean when you depart. Thank you for helping us keep this special place beautiful for everyone.
