Was a nice spot, the drive in take you straight to the camp sight. The view was very pretty. The sound of the train was pretty annoying but it beats the sound of traffic. Very affordable.

Great spot! Secluded but safe and clean. Road a little bumpy getting in but not bad if you go slowly.

We enjoyed our camping spot very much! Amazing vistas in every direction. We utilized the picnic table, fire pit and portable toilet. A great location to explore southern NM from. Thanks for hosting.

It would have been nice if the hammock was provided and the bathroom should just be clarified as being a port-a-potty by camp spot 1.

Really loved it here, beautiful sunset, sunrise, and views all around. Makes you feel like your in the middle of the desert. If your worrying about sun exposure bring a umbrella or some type of shade. Wasn’t an issue at all for me though would camp here again and recommended to all my homies.

Bare bones, but perfect for car camping. Amazing setting, responsive host and all directions were clear in advance to find the spot easily. Would go back for remote setting 👌🏻

Very basic campground with one toilette, so I wanted to have a desert camping experience and I got it without having to search out Blm land. The property has a great view of the mountains and is idealy located close to White Sands national park and Almogordo, which is why I chose to come here. The highway is close by but you canot hear anything. I was fortunate to be the only camper so I got the full experience of isolation . All in all it was it a good stay

Great campground, great view of the Mesas. Very sparse in all honestly, but this is the middle of the desert after all. Pretty secluded overall, though near to the other campgrounds of course.

Beautiful remote spot. Road becomes quite bumpy on the last stretch to get there. Very minimal amenities, but makes for a more natural experience in nature. We unfortunately ended up in our car due to extreme winds and a torrential downpour in the morning, otherwise, highly recommend!

The host was excellent and the fire pits, picnic tables and hammock stands at each camp site are a nice touch. But the total lack of shade or screening vegetation made the site challenging in hot weather and gave little privacy from other campers. It might be fine in cooler weather but I would not recommend this in warmer months.

The fact of being in the middle of nowhere with a beautiful view on the mountains is an amazing experience. Sunsets are beautiful. The cons of the campsite is that there is absolutely no shade, it’s not that far from the big road and you can hear it when dawn comes and traffic resumes. The honey bucket was not maintained, just at our campsite (not super great), and no trash possible. However it remains a good option when you visit White Sands and Regan is very responsive.

Terrible location. Extremely poor unmaintained rutted dirt road to enter. It is in a highly windy area with very fine silt dirt everywhere and no protective coverage. Can’t be outside, can’t open windows, AC gets clogged with dirt. Not a retreat in any stretch of the imagination. We ended up leaving same day when we were supposed to be there 2 nights. Good thing we left as local highway was closed due to high wind warnings with zero visibility. After leaving, found out these conditions occur regularly. Would not recommend.

Nice and clean, easy to follow instructions for finding the site. Pretty views, beautiful stars at night. Route to get there is a little bumpy just FYI in case you have a small/low car, but we made it fine. Really recommend camping here!!

Absolutely stunning views!!!
I will agree with other reviews - the road to the sites is very, very rough but doable. When we got there the toilet didn’t have toilet paper - we notified the host who did come by at some point to drop more off.

This spot is close to town but feels very secluded with beautiful views. You turn off a dirt road on to a sandy road at a port-o-potty and there are 3 marked spots. #1 is closest to the dirt road and #3 is further in. I think the owners live in an RV nearby but I was not sure. There is a picnic table, fire pit, and a metal stand for your hammock.
