Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Nestled in the bosque of the Abiquiu valley, filled with tall, majestic cotton woods and softly fragrant Russian olives. At sunset, the sky opens up to amazing beauty and the swallows begin their nightly swooping over the river. Very near by are locally owned cafes and historic places to visit. The Abiquiu valley is filled with music, arts, studio tours, spas, hot springs, lake recreation, fishing, hikes, and so so many spectacular things to see and experience. Some nearby highlights include Abiquiu lake, Plaza Blanca and Ghost Ranch, with many hidden gems in between. Reach out to us if you have any questions about local activities. We have uniquely remodeled vintage and modern, trailers and an Airstream available to rent in a lush, grassy field . The field is very open, we have some mature trees and have just planted some new, baby cottonwoods. We have a screened in gazebo with a propane fireplace, a gas BBQ, outdoor shower, kayaks and hammocks for all to enjoy. Please do not be shy. Introduce yourself to the other campers. Share stories, make s’mores. Sing songs!! Our yoga, meditation and meeting space is now open. If you are interested in booking this space for private use, please contact us to tell us what you are planning. We, live onsite at the edge of the resort area. Please respect our neighbors by remaining within the "Glamp Zone" This glamp zone occupies only 1.25 acres. Part of our mission in creating this space is to bring folks together. We encourage campers to mingle. Maybe organize a group float down the Chama. The float from just above Bodes to our very own shore is wonderful. It takes about two hours. There is one challenging spot, but beside that, the float is calm and tranquil. Please be aware, we have cats, chickens, goats, donkeys, horses and dogs that live on the property. Your pets are welcome only if they are guaranteed to not pester or hurt our posse of pets. Also, we will not tolerate excessive barking or inappropriate running around or bothering ourselves or other guests. You must pick up all your and your pets waste and take it with you when you leave. Sweet vintage camper on the river. The bed is small and cozy. One person can sleep in the bed and the other on the couch or snuggle on up together. The views are amazing. Enjoy the beautiful outdoor dining area under the awning. Fully equipped with shower, sink, toilet, stove and essentials. We look forward to hosting you! We strive to provide a clean, beautiful, thoughtful and unique stay. We also strive to be mindful of all aspects that contribute to climate change and excessive waste. Therefore, though all linens are guaranteed fresh and clean, as well as towels, sponges, etc. They might have acquired permanent stains due to our high iron water and some guests use of oil based body products. All linens are laundered prior to your stay. We provide 1 gallon of potable water and discourage you bringing in your own plastic container, if your intent is a one time use, then to be discarded. If you need more water, Bodes is 1 mile up the road and has a great filtered water dispenser. The tap water is also potable, but not tasty. It can be used for cooking, cleaning and the pets seem to lap it right up without complaint. This is nature. There will be dirt, bugs, and plant debris. Dogs are allowed in every trailer and all communal spaces. If you have brought a dog, please be sure to monitor its behavior to all other guests. No barking or bugging. Please clean up after your dog and bring a clean cover, if your dog is allowed on the bed or couch. If you produce more trash then the provided bins (2) per trailer, please pack it out when you leave. Also, please separate the trash from the recycle, or we have to do it for you. There is a large, communal recycle can in the parking area. Thank you for your participation in helping us saving the planet.

This roomy, open concept Airstream is comfortable and soothing. Though it is not on the river, it’s only a short walk away. This spot is snuggled in a cottonwood grove in the midst of an active developing homestead. You will likely be visited by one of our dogs or geese or cats. There is a queen bed in the back and a futon couch in the front.  It has a flushing toilet, shower and kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and sink.  The outdoor seating area with a view of the Abiquiu Mesa is a great place to enjoy a morning beverage. There are no walls or doors and the bedroom/bathroom area is separated by a curtain. The toilet is VERY close to the bed. It sounds weird, but it’s really not… We strive to provide a clean, beautiful, thoughtful and unique stay. This is a beautifully modern, updated trailer with a living room slide out. It’s airy and roomy and has a wonderful vibe. Full kitchen and bathroom with tub and shower. Nice big queen sized bed and a one person couch for an extra person. If you prefer, with advanced notice, I can make the dining table into a full sized bed. This was exactly the getaway me and my pup were looking for! Beautiful views. Friendly hosts. Clean and maintained property. I had time to enjoy some kayaking and lounging. I will back to take advantage of the yoga yurt and outdoor shower. Highly recommended!

I loved my stay in Bluebird! It was so cute with the best view. Saw a lot of cool birds and wildlife and enjoyed hanging with the goats and donkeys. The float was great and so are the hosts!

Javalí Is a Special Place

We went up to Javalí very much focused on paddle boarding both at Abiquiu and doing a two hour river paddle. I actually just booked at this property because my friend had already booked a spot there and I had no expectations. Y'all. This is a really special property. We came in and we're immediately drawn to the lounges that were facing the gorgeous river view. When I tell you that we didn't move from there for at least an hour. Complete & total nervous system reset immediately. There are so many thoughtful amenities around the property, including a gazebo with mosquito screen for later in the evening with a gas fire pit also facing the river, an open use yoga yurt, gas barbecue, hammock, hammock swing, lawn games, the sweetest baby goats, huggable donkeys, and super fantastic vibes. The hosts are authentic, relatable, kind, open, helpful, communicative and truly lovely people. We will definitely be back. If you are considering this spot, just do it. You won't regret it.

We stayed in the Blue Bird. It was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Robin our host was super responsive whenever I had questions. The privacy and the view were great. We loved the property. It was both beautiful and peaceful. There are lots of birds to see. They had some friendly dogs. There were fantastic views of the stars at night. We would 100% stay there again. I stayed with a friend. She stayed in the bed and I slept on the couch and it worked out perfectly for us.

Amazing grounds, Plenty of room. It was just me and my dog and three other people sharing another RV. I had the Bluebird. One stayed for one night because of the smoke from fires coming from Arizona and Colorado. My little puppy just couldn’t catch his breath. Other than the smoke. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Can't say enough good things about this campsite! Robin was an incredibly kind and gracious host. The glamping area itself was so beautiful (especially right along the river), and the animals were such a joy to spend time with. The Magpie trailer was very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Looking forward to my next stay at Javali!

Everything was PERFECT. From the river to the animals to the attention to play, freedom, relaxation and peaceful setting. This place has it ALL! Payment and reservation was stupid easy to set up. Everything was provided. Aaaaand there was shade, water, FIREFLIES and baby GOATS. Best money my tired city butt has spent in forever.

This was the perfect middle leg to a New Mexico girls trip. We flew into Santa Fe where we stayed at Motel Santa Fe. We then stayed two nights in the Magpie Trailer at Javali Glamping, one night at Ojo Caliente, and then two nights back in Santa Fe. The two nights we spent at Javali Glamping were quite memorable, and we will always cherish the memories made there. Camp Javali had a great location (45 minutes from Santa Fe, 30 from Ojo Caliente, both were very scenic drives). While staying at Javali Glamping we spent the first day relaxing by the river. The river was about 100 foot walk from our trailer, and a great way to cool down. We cooked a simple meal inside the trailer for dinner. Robin also showed us some of the animals that are kept on the property. We are all animal lovers, so we enjoyed milking a goat, seeing a baby goat born that day, and petting the horses and donkeys. The second day we went on an incredible hike at Ghost Ranch (about 20 minutes from the glamping site). We got super warm after this and spent the day checking out the 2 local restaurants, both of which were tasty, and very close to the glamping site. Robin was a very kind and accommodating host. It is very apparent that she cares greatly for this very special place. I definitely recommend Javali Glamping to anyone looking to explore the wild beauty of New Mexico.

Perfect Stay!

Our stay at Javali River Camp could not have been better! Everything went smoothly for us to really enjoy and relax during our stay. Robin and Alea were absolutely wonderful and welcoming. We wish we could have sent more time with them and the camp. Sunrises over the river in the gazebo with the fire pit and coffee in hand while listening to the bull elk across the river was magical!!! Hour little dog did not want to leave. He head under the tailer when it was time to leave.

Absolutely loved the location as well as the hospitality! Kudos for the set up and the welcoming of all of your facilities! Literally super clean, super cute, with excellent landscaping, and that outdoor shower was amazing and just what we needed! Wish we could have stayed longer! Little Dipper
This was the perfect spot for my dog and I to stop for the night! The Little Dipper camper was so cute, including the built in radio and cassette player (that worked!). I arrived late so didn’t even see the gorgeous little river until morning. It was super close to the camper- perfect for a morning dip. I ended up spending a couple of extra hours here, enjoying the scenery and petting the animals. Oh, and the fresh eggs were 👌. Thank you!!

We had a lovely weekend, Robin has a little slice of heaven on the Rio Chama. We saw elk, beaver and geese right from our little sitting area outside the Blue Bird. Robin has provided everything needed for a quite serene weekend to explore the beautiful Abiqui area. Glamping with all details taken care of! Just lovely!

This was an exceptional experience! We could not have been more pleased with the property, people and the beautiful weather. The small trailer close to the water was exactly what we needed for our escape. The passing thunderstorms and lightning show were icing on the cake! Loved it! Another of nature's fine touches were the lightning bugs! We weren't expecting that. Definitely a gem that needs to be experienced.

We had a wonderful experience staying in the Blue Bird vintage trailer. The camp area was very tranquil, situated right along the Chama River. The communal space was an added bonus, with a screened-in sitting area and gas fire pit. Games were also available, like croquet and Nerf lawn darts. Also, our dog got along well with Robin's two dogs (who are both friendly and polite). Overall, we had a really lovely, relaxing experience and do plan to visit here again.

The place was absolutely fantastic! It was more than just a place to sleep it was a whole relaxation communal vibe. You had individual private spaces to relax and have some privacy and there were places where you could interact with others if you chose to. The host came out to say hi and was super friendly! The scenery was just beautiful and calming! Wonderful wonderful place! Thank you!

This place is truly magical, right next to the river with a little floaty on a rope - perfect for kids. While you feel very removed from everything, the town and amenities are a few minutes away. There's a yoga meditation yurt, netted living room to keep out mosquitos, a beautiful outdoor shower, and a petting zoo. Best of all, the people who populate this place are nice and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Robin was a wonderful host! Her glamp-ground is beautiful and serene. The airstream we stayed in was well-appointed, cozy, and well thought out. We were so excited to stay in such a cute place after a day of rafting, and wish we could have stayed longer! There are hammocks on the grounds, and the property is right on the river. Will definitely be back the next time we are in NM!

The peaceful and beautiful space that Robin has created to a credit to her dedication to helping her fellow travellers in life. Loved the little dipper (or as an aussie might say "little ripper"). Robin is welcoming and friendly and the view sitting next to the river is perfect. Hopefully we can return some day for a longer stay.

Very lovely little site to view the eclipse. We were grateful for the heat since the temps dropped suddenly. The riverside star gazing was lovely and the donkeys were adorable and friendly. Only feedback would be more curtains in the sleeping area for privacy and for those that like to sleep in a bit. We would definitely return.

Robin is the best host and the property is beautiful and peaceful. I loved the little Bluebird. Just right for one person and equipped with hot water, electricity and cooking implants. The animals are all super sweet.

My 13 y.o. Son, our golden retriever & I had a fun and peaceful time at Javali. We stayed in Blue Bird & were quite cozy. Being right next to the river was so lovely & we had a great time in the kayaks.

I had such a wonderful stay at Javali. I stayed in the Little Dipper RV. It was super cute and very clean. My dog enjoyed the beautiful grass and playing in the river. We will definitely be back!

The Bluebird camper was so charming, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was quite a treat to be right next to the river, and to see the sun rising on the water each morning through my window, as well as sit and watch the water on this scenic property. The outdoor shower was a fun experience, and kayaking on the river in the evening with a kayak that was provided by the host was just lovely. I also got to meet some friendly fellow campers. I would recommend checking kitchen supplies to see if you need to rewash them before you use them, using the fan to get cooler air inside, and bringing bug spray. Even with some bugs, being that close to the water was worth it for me.
