This place exceeded my expectations! It was such a neat place to stay, very cut, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. What I loved the most is that the whole building and every room felt like a piece of art. From the wall trims and grout choice to the pieces hanging on the wall. Every single detail seemed carefully curated so that it felt as if I was staying in a work of art. 10/10

Crows Nest Tree House is A+

Crows nest tree house was so much fun. You can tell they thought out its design & ammenities well. We really enjoyed the view, cooking out on the grill & enjoying the beautiful weather. The ranch is also full of walking trails & they provide you carts with wheels at the parking area, which was very helpful.

Absolutely stunning

Came here after visiting White Sands National Park. Incredible doesn’t describe it enough. 100/10 hands down coolest place we’ve ever stayed. We came with our two kids and pup and stayed in the Crow’s Nest. We played rock checkers, the coolest small playground, the slide off our top deck to the private hang out spot under our treehouse. The sunrise breakfast over the mountains, all amenities needed, so comfortable. The vhs tv was a hit with out kids (we got to show them how rewinding used to be done). I literally cannot say enough great things. So clean so cozy, just perfect!

Silver Bullet Airstream El Místico

Crow's Nest was amazing! My kids LOVED the slide and outdoor living area. Visits from Chester the St. Bernard we're another highlight! Views from the deck and beautiful surroundings with a touch of whimsy made it perfect. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Even better in person!

Such a cute and fun place to stay! Added so much to our trip to have this extra special place, with the fun and artsy decor everywhere, very fun land and sites to explore. The treehouse was adorable, the other sites nearby look very cool too. Plenty of peace and privacy. CHESTER, very good boy. In a cautious and respectful manner, he brightened our time even more! Appreciated that we didn't have to interact with anyone to get settled in or out. 10/10, would come back! Loved the treehouse but would try another one of the sites.

Glamping Gem

We loved the Crow's Nest Treehouse and amazing views. It was perfect for our family of 4 (two smaller teens and two adults + one weiner dog). The fun iron artwork, rustic touches, slide, swing, bridges and no internet made this a very memorable glamping adventure. Just what we were looking for. Plan to walk 5 minutes on a gravel path from the cars. They do have carts to haul your gear but I would not recommend big bags. It is also downhill so carts can get a mind of their own. All part of the glamping experience! We did have to keep an eye out for their dog who would show up inside our fence. He did not seem super keen on our small dog. One wish, a microwave. If you have need for heating bottles, leftovers or anything else that is missing. It was raining so we could not use the grill, had to reheat our leftovers on the stovetop. Reminded me of my grandparents house when I was a little kids. All and all we would highly recommend checking out this gem and hope to get to visit them again.

Nearly Impossible to Contact

Located in a beautiful area. We loved the stargazing and the landscape. Unfortunately, the hosts did not respond to any of my messages through HipCamp and we had to track down a phone number to try to reach them via call/text as we arrived at sunset. The entrance has a locked gate that requires a code, and on arrival we had not been told that there was a locked gate or been given a code.. After trying to call and text the number we found online, it got dark and we gave up and drove away after not getting any response. The host eventually texted with the code so we turned around and went back. Not an ideal system of welcoming or preparing guests. Can’t recommend.

The morning sunrise from the Crows Nest was beautiful. Just perfectly situated for morning breakfast on the deck or a lazy view from the loft window. The kids loved the slide, the space underneath, staying in a forest. So much interesting art as we walked along the path to get to our treehouse. A unique place to be.

Zia Geo Dome at El Mistico

Casita Mistica is a very comfortable and cozy place, you have very comfortable beds, the decoration is very nice with a lot of details. The kitchen was complete, they even had some spices for us to use. The bathrooms were pretty and clean but one of them didn't have working lights so it was difficult to use it at nights. Also, one of the bedrooms had a leak right by the window, we visited in August so we had a bit of rain. Overall a great experience, the ranch is full of details and it's beautiful to walk around it.

I can't say enough good things about my stay at El Mistico ! The place was clean, fresh, inviting, with a spectacular view. Definitely more on the cozy side. The upside to that is its perfect for a romantic getaway. If I has a critique it would be that I wish the path had a more visible sign. However, I’m looking forward booking another get away this winter .

A super cute spot! The tree house was adorable and peaceful. It was also equipped with everything we needed to cook a nice dinner and enjoy it on the balcony. Would also highly recommend walking around after the sun sets to see all the lights. A lot of thought and care was put into the whole site. Will be back!

Amazing!

The geodome was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay! The only thing I wish we had was a microwave or an air fryer or something. There is only a mini fridge and a grill and we had trouble lighting it.

We loved Ashley’s Treehouse!

Ashley’s Treehouse is beautiful and exactly as you see in the photos! We loved the beautiful scenery and are so grateful we made it to Nogal, NM before dark. We recommend aiming to get there before sunset so you can really enjoy the drive and relax on the balcony while taking in the views. The drive is beautiful full of curvy roads, definitely best navigated in the daylight. As for the treehouse, it is very quaint and charming! Be prepared for a short hike (as described) and wear shoes that are good on gravel. Pedro provided gorilla carts to help with transporting belongings. There is a neat bridge you cross and awesome for picture ops! I would like to note: the ceiling is relatively short and optimal for those who are 6’ 2” or shorter. The staircase has clear caution marks warning to prevent head bumps, but nothing was mentioned of the short ceiling height. In the middle of the night the fire alarm went off randomly. Not sure why. The treehouse uses portable heaters to keep the space warm and had a portable cooling system for hot days. We think the heaters may have emitted something that set off the alarm. It turned off after a few minutes but definitely impacted the vibes. The shower is very cold and tiny, with pretty tiles. The water comes from deep in the mountain and doesn’t stay hot very long. Pedro let’s you know this ahead of time. The land is beautiful and we loved our stay! There are even word searches and a deck of cards provided. Nice touch!

Our family and I loved our time at the house. Quiet and lots of room for the 4 of us. There’s no central heating but the pellet stove and wall heaters work well. The location was great, and just far enough from the next town that has food options. Already recommended this place to our friends!

Fussy Traveler Loved It!

Mistica exceeded our expectations. This a truly unique stay. We were only there for one night but talked about booking for a week. It’s a very well appointed adobe with a genuine experience of heating with wood fire. I’m a fussy traveler and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Pedro!
