It is conveniently located just a 20-minute drive from the Very Large Array, a famous radio astronomy observatory featuring 27 massive dish antennas. There are also many interesting side trips to explore in the area, including a visit to San Lorenzo Canyon. This beautiful location is known for its sculpted sandstone formations, slot canyons, and caves. There is a dump site available, but it requires some backing up and maneuvering to access. Additionally, there is well water that you could use to fill your freshwater tank if needed.
