We had a lovely stay! Brenda and Jimmy are war and welcoming.
The land is beautiful and restorative. Loved Nanny the dog and the new pup as well. Would definitely stay again.

The Avenue Campsite
Huge property with well-defined camping spots. About 25 minutes from Santa Fe. We stayed at the Avenue site with our pop up camper. A bit tight to also fit our truck, but we made it work. The bathhouse was a nice perk, with two toilets and a shower. Water for drinking and camping was available from a well pump at the first casita by the gate but it was a bit far to walk (but driving and parking there was an option). Brenda and Jimmy were wonderful hosts, good communication, very friendly. There was a puppy and the older white dog running around, which was a problem for our (unsociable) dog. But we came to an agreement on how to manage the situation and it worked out for everyone. There is a lot of grass and a pond, so there are also a lot of mosquitos and other flying insects, so bring repellant and long sleeves! The temperature was pleasant for us, early June. Not too hot during the day, and a nice chill at night! A nice break from Arizona heat! I would recommend this property for anyone wanting a private getaway! It is a bit close to the highway but otherwise very peaceful and private!

Outback RV Site
We had a great stay at Agua de Vida!! Directions were easy to follow and site was as described. Loved walking to the pond each night. The evening rain showers were magnificent. Nanni, the camp canine , visited every night and I fell in love!! Brenda and Jimmy went above and beyond in helping us out with vehicle trouble. We were very grateful. Highly recommend a stay!

I asked for directions when I got to the gate. Instead of sending them she asked if I was sure I didn't get them. To which I said yes again, please send them. Sent me directions that cut off halfway, said I needed to hold to extend the message. I said it showed only "copy" when I did that. She still didn't send me the rest of the directions. But I was in at that point & thought whatever, I'll just enjoy my trip.
There were 2 campsites near the pond. I originally chose the 1 with a worse view. When I saw no one else was there I moved to the other & asked if I could switch. She made a big deal about it, said "What, the other site doesn't have a good view?" again passive aggressive. All to say she can just switch it in the end.
After I said her my cat was with me, she said there's a $10 pet fee. This wasn't listed originally. They changed it after I was already there. I wouldn't have come if I known. They expect you to pay in cash. Who carries cash these days? My cat stayed on a leash within 5 feet of the tent, unlike dogs that dig, bark & poop everywhere. Tracked me down multiple times to solicit a few bucks. I was shocked they seemed so eager to annoy customers.
Water very salty & undrinkable.
No 5G internet signal on site or in the nearby town.
Pros: Beautiful pond. Friendly dog roams property. Owners around & friendly to your face. Shower very nice but can run out of hot water. Few bugs. Very private. Was warned about loud bullfrogs at night but I found them peaceful.

This was a great place to stay close to Santa Fe and Albuquerque. The land was gorgeous, felt fairly private, lovely views, and we especially had fun boating on the pond and meeting the camp dogs. As other reviewers have said the freeway is a bit loud but earplugs worked and we did appreciate the easy access.

Beautiful property. Outstanding night sky. We were the only campers on location during our overnight stay.
The RV sites are very close together which would be especially nice if camping with a group of friends and/or family.
Visited the chicken coop which included peacocks and rabbits.
Nice peaceful pond. The property dog was a sweetheart.
Very nice clean bathrooms...one with a shower.
Would definitely visit again.

Lovely place for a stopover. It was the perfect place for us to recover from the dust and severe thinderstorms we encountered the night before on the west side of Nebraska. It was quiet making for a good nights sleep. The shower was great and the ability to do a little laundry was a plus! Will definitely keep this on our list for a stop on our future roadtrips. Thank you!

Easy access off I-25. Brenda is a wonderful host; kind, carrying & great communicator. There were 4 pull through sites (side by side) where we stayed, super easy to navigate. Property is very well kept with beautiful vistas.

Glad we didn’t cancel since there was hail the night before. It rained a little overnight and it was perfect! Slept great. Sunsets and sunrises here are beautiful. Also, Nanny was a sweetheart and hung out with us and our dog. Already missing it!

Overview RV Site
Brenda was a lovely host and her land was absolutely breathtaking. From the beautiful walking paths to views of snow capped mountains to her wonderful hospitality, everything was perfect. She even showed my children her bunnies ! We would very much recommend this site if you want a great site driving distance to Santa Fe.

Beautiful spot near the pond with lots of bird life visiting. The bathrooms were clean, nice hot shower, too. Nice access to the Pecos Monument and Grasshopper Trail. Really good food at Cafe Fina nearby and of course a day trip into Santa Fe. Although you can hear the highway traffic, it’s a beautiful, quiet spot. Loved our stay.

The Cove Campsite
The campsite was beautiful and very relaxing by the little lake with many birds. I loved how close it was to I-25 (but surprisingly quiet) for easy access to Santa Fe and that it felt secure because it was gated. I would definitely stay here again if I came to NM.

We stayed at the Upper Edge campsite and aside from a little bit of highway noise it was peaceful and private. Brenda was a very gracious host and directions were spot on. There’s a pretty walking trail through the camp and a very friendly “camp canine.” 30 minute easy drive to Santa Fe and Pecos National Historic Park just a few miles away. I would definitely stay there again.

We only stayed one night for a stopover, but we would’ve loved to stay longer. A paradise off the interstate with a bathhouse to boot! Brenda was kind enough to offer to meet us at the gate, luckily we arrived before dark. Our rig didn’t fit in the campsite we booked but Jimmy moved us to another one.

We LOVED our time here! It was so peaceful with all the amenities of a campground- water, sewer, electric. The stars are INCREDIBLE!!! In a great location near Santa Fe and tons of national parks.
