Serene location on a lake. 30 minutes to Manhattan (no traffic!), 20 minutes to Newark, NJ. Close to shopping, museums, one hour to Sandy Hook beach. Non-motorized boating, fishing, campfires allowed. Private, quiet, beautiful. Lots of wildlife. Flat area is good for biking around town. Great hiking a short drive away. Public transportation to NYC available from town (@1 mile walk to train station/bus stop).

Lovely site to the side of Stephanie’s house. She was super helpful to make sure we were fully aware of the facilities as she was away and she answered all my messages promptly.

City RV camping

Once settled in the view was beautiful but we were parked next to a dumpster and the owner's large RV. Dennis was so kind to move the dumpster so we could fit our RV. There was lots of wildlife to enjoy by the lake - deer, heron and swans. There was a firepit and they left us some wood for free. There was a school across the street, we heard the bell several times. We were just staying for a night and didn't explore the city but it is very close to NYC, would recommend for that. With some adjustments, this could be a really nice site.
