We booked this place because it was described as a farm and the various tiny houses, buses, etc seemed pretty cool. However, it's not a farm, there's no farmstand. Everything is very overgrown. There's no swimming pond. The photos on the listing do not accurately depict what the place is like. The toilets and drinkable water were good. I appreciated the kitchen and borrowed some plates as we had run out of our supply. There's no restaurant and no Hummingbird Center. Also I sustained more bug bites on my first two hours there than in the past ten years. If you go bring the DEET insect repellent.

Van/Car Camp Site 2 @ Streeter Farm
It was a rainy day and I just didn't feel up to setting up my tent after traveling across the country. I was able to trade up to a little tiny house cabin, paying the difference. It was very rustic, but comfortable and cozy. I really appreciated having a good night's stay for me and my dog. Although I miss the wonderful restaurant that's not currently happening at the farm, I appreciated my stay here nonetheless.

Josh was spot on…easy to communicate with & available. He was able to accommodate my request to change from outside glamping to an indoor room, due to the weather without missing a beat. The accommodations were excellent, clean, practical & just as depicted. Rained while I was there & it was pretty cool, but the grounds were accessible with flowers blooming & the garden coming along beautifully! I would definitely return if in the area. Thanks Josh!

Really peaceful grounds & friendly cats 🐈⬛
Although we camped, it was really pleasant visiting the main red house, using the kitchen, and chatting with the hosts and other travelers.

Well received and taking care of. Located in a quiet street, far from city vibe. Main house is the hub for bathroom, you can use the amazing community kitchen for a reasonable fee. This farm is an hidden gem if you want to disconnect from the life of the city and see was really is a homestead. Can ride MTB trails, from the site directly. We slept in the bluebus, with minimalist equipment and a wood stove. That was super relaxing, surrounded by the woods. Highly Recommended

We stayed at the family room and it was very comfortable with grade mattresses and even shades to block out the light, which we appreciated. The library had a fantastic collection and we love spending a rainy day there. Ann Was super helpful and very kind and patient and showing us around and even allowing us to help a little bit on the farm. The kids loved it. Stephanie a great and welcoming space for anyone who loves Community. There was a lot going on, although it was only end of April and still early in the season.

My son and I had a great time! The wood stove made it toasty even in winter weather. And it was really nice to be a little away from the farm, very private.
Things that could be improved: a couple of comfy chairs to sit by the stove would be nice. In general, the furniture of the bus could easily be made cozier and more functional. Also, the use of the bathroom in the main farm building was not very private, and the shower expensive, I think three dollars for three minutes? I did also would be nice if the snow was shoveled along all the path that leads to the bus.

Always love visiting this place—well stocked with an excellent indoor kitchen and lots of gear (skis, snow shoes, poles, sleds) that’s free to use. Rooms are cozy and the fireplace room has a killer view.
Major summer camp vibes—I visit as often as I can.

Our stay at Streeter Mountain was great! The cabin was as cozy as advertised, they started the wood burning stove for us so it was warm upon arrival, the hosts were welcoming, and the property is beautiful! Highly recommend for a weekend away to disconnect.

We had a good time while staying here, they were very helpful and accommodating. we stayed in the lighthouse which has no heat or electric while it was snowing, we did have our own personal propane heater and made it through the night just fine. it was definitely cold being that its the middle of winter, but they did offer us to stay in the main house with heat we just decided to rough it in the lighthouse and it was absolutely beautiful! the views were great especially in the snow (just very cold)! the walk to the lighthouse was a little rough due to all of the snow but overall it was great, i would definitely stay here again in the summer!

Wonderful dinner! Would definitely recommend. Unique dishes, amazing flavors and loved all of the local ingredients. Very cool to see the kitchen at work and the garden where much of the food is grown while you dine. Friendly service too.

We loved our time at the Hummingbird Center! We chose to rent a platform for our tent for the Labor Day weekend and loved it! The view from Platform #2 overlooking a clear meadow followed by trees and mountains was a joy to wake up to every morning.
We also enjoyed how close the parking lot and outhouses were. This made it really easy to shuttle gear back and forth between the campsite and the car, and the convenience of the outhouse was great too!

Upfront: the reservation is not guaranteed for the specific site and the site accommodations are not necessarily reflective of the description. It’s first come first serve and could use a little more TLC at the sites. There was extension cords running through most of the tent sites and a little bit of trash left behind from the previous campers.
Despite this, the property was pretty and worth visiting. Friendly staff and the food was good. There’s a few barn cats that we saw and peaceful at night.

It was easy to find because of good signage. The host was there to meet us and give us helpful info as well as meals that we purchased, which were delicious. The barn bathrooms were clean and super cool! We had a great night’s sleep in the woods at the car campsite, which was very quiet at night/no cars on road.

Really lovely place. Not that hard to find. Staff were all very friendly whenever we interacted. Really quaint place to stay if you like being in the woods but don't feel like tenting.
