Mark is such a great host and just a really nice guy. The spot is unbelievable. We had complete privacy on an almost magical piece of property. He set it up so nicely with signs identifying each location. I really can’t say enough good things. It’s our favorite hipcsmp site by far.

Mark is a great host and very accommodating, his camp and property are some of the quietest we've ever stayed on with our 16' camper. Each corner of the property is more beautiful than the next. Between the serene pond, swaying maples and a small vineyard, you'll find yourself in no short supply of relaxing scenes. Stop scrolling and book it now! There is no Verizon service at the site but a small walk uphill will get you a bar if need be. Our dogs were on cloud 9 between swimming and frolicing. We will definitely be staying again! A+

Amazing campsite with a beautiful view. Great wooden furniture provided for a very comfortable stay. Paddle boat was a super fun bonus to have as well. Mark was very friendly and accommodating. It is clear he takes great care of the site.

This was our second stay here, and we can’t say enough great things about it. We had nice weather so we spent a lot of time by the pond, used the grill, sat by the fire pit, and even watched some downloaded shows on our laptop at night in the screened gazebo. We are truly grateful to Mark and his family for this site and for being such excellent hosts!

Mark was a wonderful host and the site is beautiful, large and very private! I was there solo with my dog and we enjoyed being able to explore the area near the water (and use the boat but watch out for the resident snakes living underneath!) and also the gazebo for some respite from the bugs which did make an appearance after many days of rain. Mark has created a lovely and welcoming space for campers to enjoy and has supplied everything you might need.

Mark was a great host and the location was paradise! We had complete privacy. There are ponds and trails in the area and it’s about 20 min from Keene. Overall it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be returning

The pull-out overlooks a lovely small pond surrounded by picnic tables, a fire pit, dock, and small boat. The host is very hospitable. Highly recommended.

Amazing piece of property with a real Swiss Family Robinson feel. Wonderful parking spot for the camper that overlooks the pond. There is also several well done little areas to explore and relax around the site. I'll certainly return for another relaxing weekend.

Had a great time! This site was by far the quietest we have ever stayed at. My dogs loved running around the field by the gazebo and our time spent by the pond. Wonderful spot.

Mark and his daughter have made this spot very accommodating! There have even added flickering lights, and a clothesline. The land is beautiful with a pond area, a creek, woods, field and vineyard (plus more) to explore. We spent a bit out of the pond in the paddleboat. It was quiet and private, we had a very relaxing weekend!

Absolutely the most peaceful, quiet, even spiritual Hipcamp ever!
Mark has thought of everything: flickering solar tikis, lounge next to the pond, plenty of seating, and that wonderful peddle boat! Loved floating quietly around the pond while knitting.
A short 4 mile bike ride into Harrisville to the general store and Harrisville Designs yarn mill; 15 minutes to lots of trails at Mt Monadnock.

We had an amazing time at The Pond Site on Marks property. Everything was just perfect! From the pond, to the grassy knoll with beautiful wooden furniture and great fire pit. It was so quiet and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. There was not a soul in sight the entire time we were there. And no cell service. It was great to put the phone away and only tell the time by the sun. All you heard were the birds singing. We fell asleep to the call of loons in the distance and frogs croaking on the pond. We brought our two 8 year old boys and our two dogs and they had the best time. Marks property was extremely clean. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. We give it more than five stars and can’t wait to come back again. We would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to completely disconnect from the outside world and just wants to focus on nature. We explored the surrounding area and found a great hike on Bald mountain and Bald mountain cliffs. Definitely recommend to any fellow hikers. Beautiful views. Great great spot!

Mark’s place is an exemplary Hipcamp. He has taken the time to not only create the sites, but also to create and maintain a sweet pond and gazebo. The spot is near some cool hikes, e.g., to a nearby general store, which altogether make for a stay with everything a camper would reasonably need. Mark himself is a wonderful host, warm and welcoming. No hesitation recommending this spot!

I want to echo everything that was written in the previous reviews. This site is an absolute gem. It’s obvious that Mark has given serious thought about creating a wonderful experience for HipCampers. He clearly loves his land and it loves him back! The parking pad, pond, and meadow are all easily accessible. The entire area is quiet so you feel secluded but Mark’s house is close enough that he’s available for anything you need. He has walking trails cut into the property that join with the neighboring 700 acre property. You can have an amazing trip and never leave the property, but I recommend renting the canoe or kayak and paddling on Nubanusit Lake. In July you can paddle out to the island in the middle of the lake and eat wild blueberries while you swim or sunbathe on the rocks.
I recommend this spot 100% and my family would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What a great spot, private, quiet and beautiful. The only sounds we heard were the birds and tree frogs. And at night we saw the fireflies. The pond with the paddle boat was lovely and not buggy. Nice roads and trails nearby to walk the dogs. There is everything there you need for a great weekend. Mark was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We shall return.

The camp site and property were amazing. The best campsite I’ve visited. Mark was a very attentive host and helped me back in to the site.
The area is very private with so many extra touches. From the pond, fire pit, and the gazebo. A total gem. I cannot wait to visit again.

Booked this place on a whim and it ended up being the best Hipcamp that I’ve ever stayed at. Mark and his daughter were very kind and hospitable - they put a lot of love and hard work into making this place special. You get the true camping feel with no houses or camping neighbors in sight. You don’t feel like you are just backyard camping like many Hipcamp locations. You are off his private road with everything well labeled. There are no cars that even drive by. You have your own private pond with a paddle boat, a grill, firewood, a fire pit, cool outdoor furniture, a screened in gazebo in the middle of a wide open field for star gazing, a dock, small beach, and paths/trails all around. Just off the property there are many lakes as well. It feels like an oasis.
