Once this property was part of a large chicken farm, the fields were hayed and still are. The meadow filled with water after logging occurred about 70 years ago creating the swamp. Recently, small farm has been built here that includes alpacas, a llama, ducks, chickens, kitties and a rescue dog Beautiful farmland with livestock, including alpacas! An open field, forest, walking trails and a peaceful swamp with wildlife is all at your disposal while you are here at Someday Farm! We have a total of 12 sites for your enjoyment, there are a few sites here (Site 1, 5 and Site 12) that allow campers and tow behinds. Others may work We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay! We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers. All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table. Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. Check it out! You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :) Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase. Blackberry picking Aug-Sept. 1 pint free and then $5.00 a pint-honor system. Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you? Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use. Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating! If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away. Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can. Feel free to msg me or call for questions and information. Checkout our onsite shop (Someday Farm Market) at the barn for our own handmade/homemade items and some Alpaca products also for sale May - Nov. Also, be sure to check out all the extras (you have to review the extras to purchase firewood) offered here while you are booking your stay! You can also msg me to purchase firewood and other items once you are on site. There is firewood in each site for your arrival, if you use it, you pay the $8.00, if you order it online, no worries it's there for you already, and extra can be bought and delivered during your stay.

Tucked in the wood road to the swamp and nestled in the spruces right off the edge of the field. Surprisingly secluded. You must park parallel to the site off the drive and walk in- hardly a walk at all.

A walk-in site, quiet and secluded. It's a short walk thru a nice piece of roadway heading towards the swamp. You must walk into this site, approx 50 - 75 feet. Park near roadway. This is a smaller yet cozy and more private spot.

Beautiful farmland with livestock, including alpacas! An open field, forest, walking trails and a peaceful swamp with wildlife is all at your disposal while you are here at Someday Farm! There is a trail through the field from the barway by site 12, and you can walk along the edge of the beaver bog and checkout the swamp and wildlife. Because this is a farm...There are also farm animals on the property that can be seen by request. Check out the Extras for Coffee time with them! Also, a small farm store onsite, in the barn by request and soon the new Welcome Center for your convenience, this is an honor system. There are two Conservation Forests on Pickard Road (Hutchins Forest and 80 acres of conservation land just across the road) for hiking close by along with a Bison farm just around the corner. Feel free to msg me or call for questions, information, or checkout our onsite shop where there are extra supplies for purchase such as fire wood, drinking water, bug spray and our own handmade/homemade items for sale. Also, Be sure to check out all the extra's offered at time of booking or email/txt me and pay cash/paypal for any extras at arrival time or throughout your stay. A long and narrow site, was meant for overflow from site 5, or rents independently. A more woody area site, it's secluded as tent areas are in the back and farthest corner. Great for larger groups and join site 5 and 6 or still small enough for a single private site.

Park off the road, firepit, picnic table and camping up and secluded on the knoll. Site can be shared with Site 3 - Overflow, if you need more space. Originally planned for sharing with large families, but each site rents individually. Can accommodate a small travel camper/van but nothing too large in this site. Plenty of room for a tent or two on top of knoll.

This is a new site July of 2024, it is in a reclaimed field section and will be worked on consistently to get it up to a great site, Under the Stars. There are no trees around this site. Access is across from site 9 and 10. The first 10 campers to rent this new site will get a $10.00 rebate, ask me during your stay!

Great experience, barbie is super friendly. There were other mtb riders from highland there. Land is beautiful. Didnt get a chance to check out farm but will next time. Eggs i cooked from their chickens were delicious

We had an amazing camping experience! The place was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The campsite had everything we needed plenty of space for tents,We enjoyed BBQ, campfire nights, and great music under the stars. It was the perfect weekend getaway to relax and have fun with friends. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature and unwind! 🌲🔥✨

Site 1 - The Corner Lot

We had an amazing weekend at Barbie’s farm. When we rented site 1 we had never seen the camping areas before. When we got in, site 1 was a bit too open and close to the main driveway for us. Barbie was very kind and open to us moving sites. We moved to site 5 and really enjoyed being tucked into the woods a little more. My daughters LOVED the animals and loved that they could go say hi to them whenever they wanted. We had coffee and coco with the animals one morning and it was so fun! Barbie let us feed them and we were all full of giggles. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Site 5 - Horseshoe Corner

Barbie is the heart and soul of this place — she runs everything herself and does it beautifully. We absolutely loved our morning with the alpacas, goats, and cats, and laughed nonstop with her dog Joe (he totally steals the show). We wandered through the pond trail and ended up on a long, peaceful walk with both of our dogs — and LOVED every minute of it. The property is peaceful, full of character, and cared for with so much love. We can’t wait to come back!

The campsite is clean and a welcoming shed has all the items you might need if you forgot to pack something. Barbie’s morning cocoa/coffee and breakfast was a wonderful way to connect with the host and learn more about the farm. Her animals are so much fun to interact with. We can’t wait to head back!

Site 5 was perfect for our tent and very spacious. Water and wood was ready for us at our site. Barbie was very kinda and hospitable. We had coffee with her farm animals which was awesome. The view of the stars from our site at night was so beautiful. Peaceful and quiet with plenty of privacy for each site. Would stay again.

Perfect woodsy feel while still having access to a main road. The tree cover at the site allowed us to have a fire even when it rained! Loved the fairy lights lighting the path all the campsites are on!

We stood Labor Day weekend at site 11 and it was fantastic! The area was clean and beautiful. Lots of space to do some camping activity. Beautiful place to walk around as well. I recommend this place if you have a chance to stay. Barbie was a great host and attentive to her guests.

What a charming and fun experience for me and my 9 year old son. Barbie is a great host and she created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families or friend groups. Tent sites were neat and well spaced out, and there's a good mix of trees for privacy and open air for stargazing. My boy loved making friends with all the farm animals. 10/10 would recommend.

Site 1 - The Corner Lot

Someday Farm is a beautiful, quiet farm. The sites are spaced out well, the stargazing is beautiful, and all the animals are so sweet! Barbie, the owner, is so nice and involved. Her hard work and efforts into making your Hipcamp stay enjoyable really have paid off. The small details really make it wonderful, including calm coffee with the animals. I will be back for sure!

My husband and I enjoyed our couple of nights spent at the Loop on Barbie’s beautiful farm, and it was a pleasant first experience camping for me. Although the site was a little uneven, there was still a spot for our four-person tent. The firepit was nice, and the port-a-potties nearby were well-maintained. Barbie was very helpful when we arrived and made sure wood was available at our site on arrival. Would love to come back and try one of the other sites another time!

This camp site is absolutely amazing! The land and area itself is gorgeous, and the host, Barbie, is beyond accommodating. Her and her animals are sure to give you a warm welcome, an amazing cup of coffee and an even more incredible Sunday country breakfast. Make sure you check out the welcome center which has all kinds of little goodies for sale that are made on the farm! Amazing view of the stars in the field at night! Tent sites were well maintained. Lots of clean porta-potties! No noisy neighbors! We cannot wait to stay there again! Thank you so much Barbie!!!

Barbie was an amazing host, she made sure we had everything we needed each day! The land and site were well maintained and there were plenty of supplies on site either available for free use or for purchase. The highlight of our trip was spending time with the alpacas, goats, and chickens (as well ast he farm cats and dog) in the paddock for a morning coffee!

The land was beautiful and serene. It’s a boutique campground with only 8 sites currently. Barbie was very kind and accommodating. We stayed there because it’s so close to Top O The Hill Disc golf course. We had an awesome time between the two properties.

Wonderful animals, lovely host, and a really great time! Do not miss the coffee with the alpacas and be sure to pack lots of bug spray and bring some extra water! The nearby Sandogardy pond is great for a picnic and swimming. Would absolutely stay again! Thanks for an awesome weekend Barbie :)

Probably our favorite site on the property, we tried it with our 20 foot RV/camper van this time and it fit perfectly while having complete privacy and being surrounded by the woods. 10/10 everytime and Barbie is an A+ host

I could write a 5,000 word essay about how AMAZING our stay at Someday Farm was. Barbie’s hospitality was bar none. She made sure we had drinking water and wood on site when we arrived and was always available to make sure we had everything we needed. The entire property, including the porta potties, was clean and well taken care of. Our site (#10 The Pines) was private and had plenty of room for our 2 sleeping tents AND a 12x12 pop up tent. This site is a walk in site, but is 100% worth the walk as it is nestled in the woods surrounded by beautiful trees. There was also a gorgeous “swamp” behind the site that had beaver dens (we actually got to see one!) and more wildlife to check out than you can imagine. The carriage house and barn is a short walk where we got to hang out with the Alpacas, goats, chickens, Barbies rescue dog Joe, and all the farm cats. Be sure to add the country breakfast to your trip, it was the perfect way to end our weekend on Sunday morning. Thank you, Barbie, for making our annual Girls Trip the best one yet! We will be back for sure!
