Great place to stay. Host(s) were very kind and helpful upon arrival. Looks exactly like the pictures. Definitely pack light like it says, the walk is a little steep. Loved staying there! Quiet little getaway.

A lovely campsite
I thought the river front camp site I stayed at was so lovely, I could hear the river as I slept and had a great nights sleep! Its quiet, secluded and not too far from the car, but far enough to feel like you are out in pure nature, a lovely .25 mile trail walk. I got a chance to meet Keith and his daughter, really kind people, and very accommodating. Thank you so much!

Sweet spot in Wilton New Hampshire
Gorgeous location in Southern New Hampshire! Very kind and responsive host! Would definitely go back especially with better planning on my part.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING!!!
I went a few days ago with a group of 6 at river site 2. The site itself was beautiful and spacious, more than enough room for 5+ tents and had a beautiful view of the river. The water was warm but too shallow to swim in and does not have much fish in it at all (it does have snakes though!) The site looks absolutely nothing like the pictures which was weird because it really is beautiful.
THE MAIN PROBLEM
Although the description says it is a 1/4 walk to the campsite (not too far), it fails to mention the extremely steep and dangerous slope to get down to the site (which is a straight uphill when packing up). You cannot park at the site meaning you have to blow up air mattresses before bringing them down and the only portable water they have is AT THE TOP OF THE HILL. Absolutely not ideal for older folks, children, long stays, disabled, medical needs, etc. but would be a nice trip for one night stays and light parker’s/backpackers.
Also, the toilet was uh…..embarrassing to say the least. You must do your business on a portable toilet seat that has a mesh bag in the inside. Then you have to take out your feces and put it in a plastic bag (provided by them) and put it in a trash can-which starts to smell. The urine i guess just stays there? There was already about 6in of urine in ours so i don’t believe they are frequently (or ever) cleaned. At the top of the tent covering the toilet was black mold.
Overall it was a 5/10 for us

Safe & sound sleep
As a single female camper, I was able to feel safe and to sleep peacefully with the sound of the river babbling just outside. No water/plumbing made it a bit rustic.
