Learn more about this land: Our property encompasses 3 different campsites: 1.) Camp with Stone Fireplace - a private gravel clearing with functional stone fireplace on an 11 acre parcel. 2.) A Frame to Rest In - a newer addition which is a tiny A-Frame structure close to, but separate, from the Fireplace site and shares a driveway. 3.) Easy Come Easy Go - right off 302 and has a circular gravel driveway easy for RV pull-in with a picnic table and fire ring. --------------------------------------------- Located in Bethlehem at the top of the White Mountains close to endless hiking and biking. Both downtown Bethlehem and Littleton are within a 15 minute drive, supplying many choices for food and shopping. Rainy and need more options? Take the beautiful 1 hour drive east on 302 to North Conway and visit the big outlet stores. If the weather is better, and you want a more scenic way there with hiking -- take the 25 minute drive down to Lincoln and travel the amazing Kancamangus Scenic Byway (Route 112). This is 35 miles through the White Mountains with no gas stations, so you might want to top off while in Lincoln. Thirty minutes east is the Mount Washington Cog Railway, and you will pass the historic Mount Washington Hotel on the way. Fifteen minutes south and you can be at Franconia Notch State Park.

This is a family campsite not a remote back country site. Thank you ** Located in the small town of Bethlehem, this site consists of a large open grassy area surrounded by a circular gravel drive for easy pull through if camping in an RV. The site is right off the road, although hidden by trees. There is road noise, less so if you’re in a van or RV, but something to consider if tent camping. Our campsite is part of a 50-acre wooded lot surrounded by other large undeveloped properties. Makes a great pit stop if passing through or as a home base if doing some hiking in the White Mountains. We are located on route 302 which is a beautiful road to drive and take in the sights. Located 15 minutes from food and shopping in downtown Littleton. If you’re too tired to hike up Mount Washington, the Cog Railway is about 20 minutes east.

Thank you ** This new campsite is up the same driveway as our Campsite with Stone Fireplace, but off by itself nestled in the woods. This tiny A-frame is perfect for a sole hiker or a couple with a small child accustomed to small quarters (tent-sized). A great alternative without the the hassle of putting up or taking down a tent. Rental includes a small portable ceiling fan/light and a clip light with USB connection if you bring your own portable power bank. Inside dimensions are 6' 3" tall at the peak, 8' long, and 5' wide. The door is small requiring you to enter like crawling into a dome tent, so not the best option for larger adults or those that have orthopedic or claustrophobic issues. I am 6'1 and I'm able to crawl in, stand up, and have plenty or room to lay down and sleep. Note you may have neighbors if the Campsite with Stone Fireplace, which shares the driveway, has been booked.

Wonderful little gem!

My friend and I had such a lovely time! Our host Ryan was beyond helpful and kind to make sure our stay went well. The site was well maintained and easy to find. We also had a great open sky to stargaze and fresh snow in the morning which made our experience so much more fun. This was my first Hipcamp experience and it was a wonderful first impression!

Big circular drive with lots of space. I like it. Ryan was quick to respond and he checked in to make sure all was well. Little details are welcoming, like lights, toilet stall, picnic table, and fire ring. Statewide fire ban while I was there. The highway is close but the noise wasn’t too bad for me. I fly fished the river but did have to drive for public river access.

A Frame to Rest in
Two beautiful spots in a nice area. Quiet, peaceful, and a nearby trout river. The smaller A-Frame Rest, located off the Stone Fireplace main clearing, is useful and convenient when needed. The A-Frame is like a small wooden tent. I didn’t need it. But enough floor space for two with a steep pitch roof for just enough to stand up. No tent time needed and a bears to critters guard for peace of mind is nice. Perfect for inclement weather conditions. A bug-rain net covers a picnic table. A privacy toilet/shower stall is also on site with thoughtful provisions. This is a great option for ease of use, simplicity, and functionality. The Fall colors were great. The walk to the river is an eager down hill, but the walk back up meets with slower reluctance. Both sites are on a slight incline with at least one level option each. Levelers recommended to be where you might want to be. I recommend either site! Ryan was awesome, responsive, and helpful. I appreciate him sharing the property. I would totally come back here again.

It was so nice to have a private, spacious campsite! So close to Franconia Notch, Wild Mountain Forest trails and the Kancamagus Highway. Nice set up with a fire pit & picnic table.

Stone Firepit was awesome. Second time camping on Ryan's property, both spots were great and secluded. Ryan brought more than enough wood for the $6, we were able to do fire even in the morning before leaving.

Fantastic spot! Very secluded and the perfect location for my needs. Loved all the attention to detail at the site. Ryan really did a great job. There are solar lights here and there so you can see a bit in the dark but it's still dark enough to see all the stars at night. The camping toilet was an added surprise and I appreciated the wood left for me as well. Definitely recommend and would stay again if we are in the area.

Great site and host. Everything we love in a campsite - privacy, space for our two Goldens to play, beautiful setting with amazing stargazing. Ryan was a great host. This is our second time staying on his land. Love this part of NH, great hiking and scenery. Bethlehem is a great little town as well. Highly recommend this Hipcamp.

What a beautiful piece of property! The fire pit is perfect size for a decent fire, the grassy area is great for multiple tents if needed. Although you can hear the road, you cannot see it. We had a cute rabbit join us one morning as well. Highly recommend any of Ryan’s sites, as I have stayed at 2 and love them both!

This site was amazing! Our whole group had a great time. The space was perfect for the dogs to run around. Great location, close to everything we wanted to do! Ryan was quick with communication and was helpful in providing direction on the location. Thank you for allowing us the space to view the stars and get away. We would certainly love to come back!

This site was in an amazing wooded setting. It was super secluded and had a lot of extra touches. There were 2 chairs and a coffee table, a fire pit and a clothes line. We would definitely recommend this property to others!!!!

If we’re going to the Whites this is our go-to spot! Ryan keeps it in great condition. The little A-frame is perfect in comfort, and location to some great hikes. So easy coming up from Boston knowing we have this little cabin waiting for us.

Perfect base camp to get away!

Incredibly convenient location for area hiking and the perfect base camp for our Mt. Washington hike! Just 15 minutes from Bethlehem and it’s great restaurants, brewery and Super Secret Ice Cream! The crushed gravel surface provides a level place to leave our trailer and the grass field was perfect for a buddy’s tent and throwing a ball around. Would love to bring the dogs next time! While it’s right off the main road, it’s not a buddy road and you can’t see vehicles through the trees. Definitely recommend ear plugs for light sleepers, however, as there is truck traffic EARLY on the weekdays from the gravel/sand pits down the road. Be sure to camp bear aware as we had a small guy in the area and a grey fox checking out the set up when we came back from gorging on ice cream. Sung along with the coyotes while enjoying a fire, too! Hope to return the next time we’re headed to New England!

Car camped here and it was PERFECT! Had to improv a bit with a log to get level but aside from that more than satisfied. For the location, price, awesome fire pit, and well maintained grounds it can’t be beat. It’s a big enough clearing that you have a lot of room to set up and great view of the sky above, but still feel immersed. Less than 15 minutes to Lincoln, and less than 5/10 minutes to multiple trail heads and attractions. Thank you Ryan for creating and sharing this awesome space to set up a home base for a weekend in the mountains!

We camped in our camper van on Ryan’s land and it was great! We had a hard time finding it but I messaged Ryan and he called me right away and was super helpful. Great location and proximity to a lot of awesome outdoor spots

Great place to park it while exploring the area. Level site and great for our solar. Secluded and private all while close to the town of Bethlehem, which in itself is a great little town with fantastic ice cream, MTB trails, brew pub, yarn & coffee shops and a fantastic movie theater. Our host, Ryan, was super communicative and accommodating and quite frankly the best experience we have had thus far using HipCamp. We didn’t want to leave, but we will definitely be back.

This was a marvelous spot. Nice and private. Very quiet. It was chilly so the fireplace was wonderful. The stars were incredible after dark and quite a bit of fireflies also! We loved our start here.
