Simply the best tenting you can find in the White Mountains. The campground to get away from campgrounds, where magic touches every corner.
Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Thank you for being a part of the healing. We hope you enjoy what we have created here :)

You found the best kept secret in New England :) We welcome you to a potently Sacred Land. This breathtaking slice of heaven sits tucked away in the heart of the White Mountains. It really just doesn't get better than this. The campsite includes nearly 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains that will leave you awe struck. Park your camper or car backed up on the terraced view spots to wake up with the sunrise. Many secret trails will have you wondering all over as there is a lot to explore around the site. The amazingly custom and newly renovated 200 year old timber frame cabin will blow you away with it's craftsmanship. The small loft can sleep 4 on the floor and the cabin itself is 15'x15' offering lots of open space to hang out if the rain comes down or if you would just like to set your bed up in there rather than a tent. Our trailhead starts right from this site up to the iconic Mt. Whiteface! A perfect day hike for those looking to take on a true 4,000fter of the White Mountains (highly recommended).
You will not find a better site in all of New Hampshire. This site in particular was rated by Hipcamp as the 3rd best campsite in the Country! SNS has also been awarded the Best in state, 4 years in a row!
A mile long gravel road up is accessible with almost any car however if you are towing a trailer be sure to have AWD or 4x4 as it might not make it up the steep parts.
We also offer our dream like sauna you wont want to miss by the river. It can fit 6 people at a time 25$ per person includes firewood. Must bring your own towel! Shoot me a message an hour before you want to head in and I will get it good and hot for ya!

~CAMPSITE The Big Kahuna is very large and open with a super epic view. It has plenty of shade and enough space for about 15+ tents. The Fantastic view and Big open Hemlock grove make this one of our Campers favorite sites! Site 5 and 6 share an outhouse between the sites but are far enough away from each other (200ft through thick woods) that it keeps it nice and private. There is tons of little nook and crannies to discover at this site. Explore to your hearts galore! You can fit a few small trailers at this one, just be sure if you are towing you have AWD or 4x4 for the steep gravel road. If you aren't towing most all 2wd cars won't have a problem getting up but it is an adventure :)

Terraced Temple Top has a fabulous mountain/valley view on the property. Many secret trails and coves to discover here. The multi level campsite is smaller than most of our large sites but it has quite a few tucked away tent spots amongst the trees. There is room for 6 or 7 tents and just enough space to park a camper with a view. The road to site 5 and 6 passes by this site but besides the occasional drive by the site still feels private. If you are towing a trailer make sure you have AWD or 4x4 to get to site 4 or you might not make it up the gravel hill. If you are not towing, most all 2wd vehicles will get up just fine.

Hemlock Haven~ The name says it all. This Hemlock tree grove is a special place on the land and the vibes are unlike all the rest. It offers a great place to watch the stars around the fire. Very private site as well with room for 6 tents and plenty of parking. This site is close to the center of all the magic Sacred Nectar has to offer with loads to explore! The Outhouse down the secret path is fun to find!
*old camper photos of the site may not properly reflect this site as it has moved since we started HipCamp years ago. This site does not offer mountain views, however just a short 5 minute hike or drive up the hill to the Forbidden site is a great place you may hang out for the day to get aview!

This site contains room for at least 6 large tent spots. Roof Top Tents are not a problem here but trailers are not reccomended, tight maneuvering but it has been done with a small one. On the outskirts of the fairy forest, is a place where Sacred Nectar Sanctuary hums with life. Central to all the fun, animals, amenities and places to explore. This site is less private and secluded but great for those outgoing folks who don't mind making a friend. This area is vast enough that you wont feel like you don't have your own space either. Three different platforms are a first come first serve availability. 2 small and one large platform/covered stage. 3 fire pits for each separate group that books. Very close to the community kitchen/shower and the double outhouse. This space is near our home and other campers within ear shot so noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm please.

Sacred Nectar Sanctuary offers an unforgettable camping experience with stunning views and a range of amenities that enhance your stay. Campers appreciate the privacy and tranquility, with sites often surrounded by natural beauty and plenty of space to relax. Nick, the host, is frequently praised for his warm hospitality and thoughtful recommendations, making guests feel welcomed and informed. The addition of unique features like a mountain top sauna and the friendly camp dogs add to the charm of this well-maintained and inviting campground.
Nick's property is AMAZING! The location is just stunning with some awesome views everywhere you look. The community kitchen is a nice amenity and the bathroom is very clean. Best of all is Nick is an excellent human. I'll stay here again if I come back to the area.
Had a wonderful stay at SNS. We stayed at site 2, Secluded Grove. It was extremely private with lots of space. Plenty of options for setting up the tent. Loved that my dog could roam and get the wiggles out without even leaving the site. The outhouse was adorable and pristine. Everything was well marked and easy to find. Lots of hiking nearby and just a stone’s throw from Winnipesaukee. Had a quiet, comfortable weekend and can’t wait to return.
Site 7 at Sacred Nectar sanctuary is truly one of our favorite places to be. You have everything you need, it’s so peaceful, and the views are amazing!
This is a very special and remarkable camp site. Nick clearly takes pride in his property and prioritizes an unforgettable experience for campers! He warmly greeted us upon arrival and gave some great local recommendations. We stayed in camp site 4 and the site layout and views are spectacular! We also thoroughly enjoyed the mountain top sauna which is in walking distance from the site. We also loved the fact that each camp site has its own charming outhouse. Ours had three windows! Note that 4x4 is recommended for this site and a few others. However, it is well worth the bumpy trip to the top!
You are living in a beautiful, detailed puzzle in a beautiful spot. It's really well-equipped with two fire pits (one with a grill for cooking, and water to rinse (not drink) in the cabin. It's warm and clean and has windows for light and air. You're about a mile from the main camp area, which has showers and more cooking stuff and electricity. You can't see or hear any other campsites from where you are.
Nick's campground was amazing. Clean, organized, and well thought of. I had two nights of my best camping experiences there. Highly recommended and will go back just for Chaga!
My second time at Sacred Nectar! My fondness keeps growing at this beautiful property! Site 3 had a lovely fixed Teepee style tent in addition to the usual spots to pitch tents which was amazing since it did rain a bit!
All usual amenities were spot on including a clean bathroom outhouse, nice fire pit with a metal grill!
Will always recommend this place to everyone!
Absolutely magical!! Brought our family of 4 to celebrate my son's 16th birthday!! So much love has been nourished into this land. So many little details of creativity and whimsical energy all throughout the trails and sites. Gahhh and the views!!! Ill be heading back with my partner this week to enjoy a small festival there!! Can't wait!! See you in a couple days Nick and Ashley!! Appreciate everything youve done and continue to do! thank you for sharing this sacred land with us 🥹✨️🦄🧚♂️🔥💜🌈 🏞
Perfect sites for peaceful camping either in the forest or by the fields. Nick and Ashley are very helpful and accommodating.
Had lovely hike around around camp with beautiful trails
We really enjoyed the stay with Nick and his beautiful property. Site 2 was very quiet and in the woods and very private. The wood fired sauna is a strong recommend and was amazing after a long day of bike riding.
Beautiful land and lovely place to camp! Site 4 is very large with a great view. Private outhouse. Friendly camp dog spent the night at our site and hung out with our dog which was a bonus. There is a cute camp kitchen where you can wash dishes/discard trash and recycling, and firewood is available for purchase. I’m sure we’ll be back!
We love camping at Sacred Nectar Sanctuary! Nick does a beautiful job keeping the campsites so clean and comfy! We love love that the sites for the tent are sandy and flat. There are so many fun things to explore…..just a great place to be off the grid.
Such an awesome time at Sacred Nectar Sanctuary! Family and community vibes located near great hiking trails. The Pot Holes that Nick suggested were awesome on a hot day. Stayed at site 1 and it was super spacious, private, and surrounded by woods. Loved it!
