In-Tents Camping is located in Jefferson surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest on a large parcel of farmland. Our property consists of fields, woods and a mountain cold stream. We are at the foot of Starr King Mountain trail, one of the many 4000' trails in the White Mountains. A HIKERS PARADISE! This is the perfect spot to camp if you're looking to hike Mount Washington or explore the many trails close to the property. PLEASE make sure you come prepared with the proper camping gear! You MUST bring a tent or RV for camping. Our campground is suitable for nature lovers or outdoor enthusiasts. We take incredible care of our land - it is not suitable for parties! PLEASE NOTE, we prefer arrivals before 9 pm, so please communicate what time you will be arriving with us beforehand :) We purchased this farm over a decade ago. Mike being a lifetime resident of Jefferson is very familiar with the local surroundings and attractions, we take pride in our community. We enjoy farming and gardening. We are blessed to have the opportunity to share this beautiful land with others that will hopefully enjoy it as much as we do. We are always working to enhance the property for a better camping experience.

Located in the heart of Jefferson. This secluded group site includes a charcoal grill, water spigot (not for drinking)  trash barrel, large fire pit and picnic tables in a wooded area. The hot shower and porta toilets are close by. Plenty of space to set up your tents under the trees or on the soft grass. The open field is great for playing games and having fun. We harvest wood from our property and offer a small trailer load of wood for and additional fee. No imported wood is permitted on site due to invasive pest.  Reminder: this is a primitive camping site with clean porta toilets not flushing toilets.

My family really appreciate the love and support you guys provided to us through out our stay! It was our first camping experience and went very well! Camping ground was very beautiful and clean,Kids enjoyed their time very well.Very safe and secured. I wonder just the beginning of the August and morning,evening’s and nights are super cold,If you really wanna go camping on this site be prepared for warm blanket and warm clothes in case if you need them! I realized the cold wind from mount Washington hits the surrounding areas which is just 30 minutes away from the campground ⛺️!I recommended 100% for any campers to go enjoy there with your family ,friends and relatives Thanks Jens and Mike !😊

I was greeted kindly by hosts and their doggie. Jen showed me the property. Everything was clean and thoughtful. It was quiet and comfortable to sleep. But it is hard to fall asleep because the stars are breathtaking!

Had a great stay in mid summer. We were able to get a site on a Saturday night with short notice. Shower had hot water and was private. Toilets were clean. A lovely evening with a beautiful view of the sunset!

This was one of the best spots for astrophotography. The view of the sky is wide and the skies are really dark and you have a great view of the Milky Way! Jen is very accommodating with our needs and very hospitable. You have a private corner for yourself and you will not disturb the other campers

I loved tent camping on Mike and Jen's property. All the directions were extremely clear. There was a warm shower just a short walk away. The port a potties were incredibly clean and checked daily throughout our stay. If we needed firewood we were able to text Mike and Jen and they would bring it directly to the campsite. Mike and Jen were very attentive and caring to everyone staying there over the 4th of July weekend! We will be returning ☺️

Mike & Jen’s property was just amazing! Jen is so attentive and kind. I typically camp at US Forest sites but this was really a treat to have kind neighbors around, the cleanest bathrooms, and great cell service. Quieted down at a reasonable hour considering the 4th of July too!

We had a wonderful experience at this campground! From the moment we arrived, the owners were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The entire campground was well maintained, clean, and easy to navigate. We stayed at the group site, which was spacious and perfect for our needs. The provided tent and lights were a huge plus, especially during a rainy spell, they helped keep things comfortable and enjoyable. The kids had an absolute blast at camp, the swings are next to the site, and having Santa's Village just 4 minutes away was the cherry on top! It made for a fun day trip and kept the little ones entertained throughout the weekend. Highly recommend this spot for families or groups looking for a clean, well-run campground with thoughtful touches and great access to local attractions.

I don’t know if theres a single improvement to be made! Absolutely incredible site & hosts, Jen and Mike were amazing! Our dog got bit by deer flys and Jen was kind enough to bring us up some Benadryl so we didn’t have to go out to the store. The site itself was immaculate, so many options for where to set up your tent with a great view of the mountain! right by the bathrooms/shower and a small swing set which the 4 & 5 yr olds we had with us loved. It really had everything you could want! We will 100% be returning!

The camp is beautiful. Bathrooms and shower available. We stayed at the group tent area and had everything there we needed. Picnic tables, fire pit, folding table to cook at and the new addition of lighting that worked out great! Can’t wait to go back!

Such a great camping spot! Mike and Jen are super friendly, the property is beautiful and has amazing sunsets. Each site is well spaced apart and has a fire pit with a grate to cook as well. They offer firewood for a super reasonable price and there is plenty to do nearby. They also have showers and porter potties that are extremely clean and well maintained. I highly recommend camping here, one of my favorite spots of all time!

This camp site was very awesome. Clean and quiet. Mike and Jen are super nice and helpful. Bathrooms were clean, shower was nice. I only have one suggestion....maybe they can close one side if shower room and place a door on the other so that one can have privacy while in there, otherwise it feels as anyone can just open the curtain. Otherwise a fabulous place... Thank you.
