Homestead Farm Retreat
This is a great site! It was exactly what we needed for a quick weekend hiking trip. Site is clean and level, fit out 20’ camper van easily, and was quiet despite being close to the road. We’ll be back as there are plenty of great hikes close by!

Great camping spot! Used it for a quick overnight with a few buddies and had a fun time. It's a bit close to the road but otherwise great. The owner was very helpful as well when we contacted them!

Homestead Farm Retreat
We had a great stay here! It’s a simple, flat plot that was perfect for parking our 24 ft camper. The property is beautiful and very peaceful, no neighbors in sight, so it felt nice and secluded. There were a few cars driving by now and then, but overall it was quiet and relaxing. There’s some trails leading down to a pond, we put our canoe in and had a blast. We went for a walk and had one of the neighbors offer to let us walk down to meet their cows, which was such a sweet bonus. Definitely a lovely spot if you’re looking for a getaway. Mark was really nice, we would visit again if we’re in the area!

This is a great spot! Pleasantry secluded, amazing star viewing. The walk to the lake is lovely and despite being August, the bugs were nearly non existent. Will certainly stay again. Just be aware that as of 2025 verizon service is nil. A short walk up the road is all you need should you need to engage with civilization.

Mark’s spot was clean and a great stop for us on our way to Maine. We only stayed one night and didn’t have much time to explore, but the spot was level and private, with a nearby pond and trails to explore. Mark was very accommodating to our travel needs and was prompt with communications. Thank you for being a part of our travels!

Mark’s piece of land is private and serene. His place is next door but you can’t see it from the hip camp property. The area is full of trees and greenery. The land is quite level. It is out 30minutes or so from Laconia. It was a great fit for us because we went to Laconia bike week. Riding in that area is absolutely beautiful. He was prompt in communicating- even when I thought we made a wrong turn!

We had a great time, parking our RV and setting up a tent at Mark‘s spot. There was a fire pit with lots of firewood provided. We had enough space to set up ladder ball, and cornhole, in addition to our 30’ RV and 3 person tent. The sunrise over the field across the road was beautiful. There’s a really nice hiking trail nearby that led to the shore of Meetinghouse Pond. The only challenge was that Google Maps sent us to the wrong road (Joe Jones Road), but a friendly neighbor helped us find our way when we came to a sign that indicated the road was not maintained. Once we got to the right road (Meeting House Rd), the orange cone that Mark put out made it easy to find, as well as the white fence from the listing. This is the first time that we didn’t camp at a state park or larger facility for RVs and it was really nice to have the whole place to ourselves.

Mark’s location is serene country. Finding a great spot to park the trailer was easy. You are close to several lakes and can enjoy the outdoors. If you are looking for a location to get away from it all, you have found it here. Thanks for the quick communication and pre travel tips.
