The Emerald Green Cabin is a fully insulated, off-grid forest escape with a short woodland trail leading down to the Isinglass River. Located just 3 miles from beautiful Bow Lake—with its swimming beach and boat launch access—it’s perfectly situated for outdoor adventure. Lovely local hikes at Parker Mountain, Blue Job Mountain, and Stonehouse Pond are just minutes away. This peaceful retreat offers privacy, seclusion, and the calming presence of nature. It’s a truly unique getaway, ideal for those seeking a rustic camping experience with the comforts of a cozy cabin. 🛌 Cabin You’ll have this Hipcamp all to yourself. Amenities available at the cabin: 🍳 1-burner propane stove for cooking 🪵 Woodstove for heat (plus an additional Buddy propane heater for quick warm-ups) 💧 5 gallons of sink water for washing (via foot pump) + 2.5 gallons of drinking water 🚻 Privy 🍽 Plates, bowls, mugs, utensils, knives, pans, kettle, and cooler ⚡️ Battery-powered lights (no electricity) 🛏 Full-size bed in the loft and a couch that converts into a surprisingly comfy full-size bed. Two camping cots are also available in the loft and can be set up on the main floor if needed. Clean sheets, pillows, a comforter, and a sleeping bag are provided.Emerald Green Cabin is located on 13 acres of quiet woodlands with walking trails along the property and down to the Isinglass River. The cabin is off-grid with no electricity. Some battery powered lights are available, but guests may want to bring their own flashlights. There is a fully functioning kitchen in the cabin with 5 gallons of running water and an additional 2.5 gallon jug of drinking water. There is a one-burner cooking stove. Propane is located outside in the woodshed and may need to be turned on to run the cook stove. (Please turn off the propane before you leave). The wood stove can also be used for cooking and heat. (Please make sure there is water in the cast iron kettle if it is on the wood stove while it is heated.) A cooler is also provided. There is a privy on the property with a composting toilet. Children and pets are not allowed to stay in the cabin due to the potential hazards of the elevated loft with ladder access, wood stove, burner and fire pit.

The Perfect Getaway Spot
Emerald Green Cabin
We had the best time at Lisa's cabin. The cabin was super comfortable and accomodating. It had a everything we need for our stay, from plenty of kitchen supplies to extra blankets. The outhouse was also very clean and just a short walk from the cabin. We also enjoyed the walk down to the river. This spot really has it all. We will be back!

Such a cozy cabin! I booked it last minute for the night, and it turned out to be perfect with everything we needed provided. Lisa was incredibly communicative and made sure the cabin was ready for us right away.

A beautiful, clean, well stocked cabin! It was the perfect spot for lots of nearby adventures! The woodstove was perfect for chilly fall nights. Communication was prompt and all my questions were answered!

Emerald Green Cabin
We loved our stay at Emerald Green Cabin. We have stayed at many off-the-grid cabins, and this was one of our favorites. Very clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the ease of the kitchen set-up with the propane stove. The woodstove kept us plenty warm during the cold nights. Apart from some of the places we've stayed, you could notice the care and thought put into the design, build, and furnishment of the cabin. The path down to the river was fun and well-marked, though the water level was a little low due to the drought...as we expected. Lisa was an excellent host, responsive without being intrusive. We highly recommend the Emerald Green Cabin.
